Cafe an der Uni (CADU)

I've been coming here once a year for 15 years, ever since I was a student myself. Affordable, fun, convenient. Perfect place to grab a bite between lectures.

The café is quite ok and usually very well visited by students. The services are sometimes a bit too slow and not always friendly. The food is average, but sometimes good. Prices are normal for Munich.

At Studis's very popular meeting, it's always powerful what's going on, but you just sit well in the covered courtyard. On the road it is too loud and hectic, about crowded inside. Map is not original, cakes are from Höflinger, so not stunning. Cocktails okay. Service is very dependent on the mood of young ladies and on how great the urge is. for a quick coffee after school ok.

The cafe near the University of Munich is mainly crowded by students during the breaks of the lectures or by locals to have a beer or a coffee. There, you can find quite everything from coffee and tea to lunch and dessert, of course, beer is always there (you are in Germany). In summer there are tables outside, the atmosphere is fine and the food good. If you are nearby, it deserves a quick visit.

The KADU, as the cafe is commonly called, is centrally located at the university. In summer you can sit outside, and inside there is still a heated conservatory, in good weather is opened here, in bad weather you still have the illusion to sit outside. These were also the only advantages in my opinion: I find the food rather under average (convenient), the service too slow and often unfriendly. The sandwiches, for example, cannot convince by their lining or bread quality. Shame!

As a Munich student, you hardly get around the Cadu. I've been to the cafe, lunch, drink cocktails or watch football. I usually like it very well. The food is good, the service friendly and the cocktails delicious. Unfortunately, I have already had other experiences. The service was really very unfriendly and the food was not very good. This is the exception... A lot of things are going on in Cadu to football matches. Whether Germany or Bavaria. You have to book a table or you have no chance. But it's worth it. The mood is really great for a bar...

From the location, naturally ideal, located directly on the Ludwigstraße, you can always watch beautiful people. The selection of food and drinks is very large, breakfast is available until 23:00, very student-friendly I must say ; . The food is good, not overwhelming but completely okay. But the other day had a hair in the food and my accompaniment too, that is not necessary as I find... In summer super to sitting outside, there is also a small courtyard or sun terrace, like a kind of winter garden. That looks very sweet! Directly at the underground station University via U3/U6, as well as bus line 154.

Coffee at the university, called by the Studis short CADU, is very well located and easy to find. Most guests are students and young university staff, so the atmosphere is usually very relaxed and easy. Very many Jura students in Adretten suits, but they are not even lifted. In winter, I prefer to sit in the courtyard, which is kept warm by large heating mushrooms, but in summer I prefer the outdoor areas on Ludwigstraße. You can then watch people beautiful and the flirt factor is also very high. I cannot agree with my previous speakers that the operation is slow. The girls are very diligent and friendly. I recommend tasting the ice cream coffee there. Is really a dream and costs 4.50 euros...

We were two families that chanced upon this restaurant, recently. It has a little door that leads into the restaurant and I so wish I hadn 't noticed it : The drinks (water, wine and fresh orange juice one can 't go wrong! were good... our food was rather average. My real problem was the service... the lady that served us was really surly and curt with us. Seven of us were served within an hour of the order. We were in no rush, so we didn 't mind that... But one and a half hours later, I still hadn 't been served my lunch! By now everyone in our group had finished their meal... but I was offered no explanation or apology. In fact, when I asked when I could expect my food, I was yelled at in...
