"Four of us went for Sunday lunch. This small hotel in the lovely village of Shottery has obviously been recently refurbished and we were well impressed with the decor and fittings. Our Sunday roast was OK without being special and we had to ask for more vegetables to supplement what appeared to be relatively small portions. We were presented with a dish of peas and then offered a dish of sweet corn. However, the desserts were delicious! Staff were delightful and the service excellent."

A late booking for a new year's eve meal so we were not sure what to expect but we had a fantastic meal, with wonderful service from the attentive staff.
