I only had a nice meal here. the snails and the wild with spetzle stood up. it is a beautiful traditional German restaurant with large staff, all excellent English speaking. highly recommended

on a hot day it is good to have a restaurant with a garden in the open. the service was ok. the menus well, especially local and seasonal feed. Unfortunately, my flesh was not good, so the chef brought it back. no cost for me.

In a restaurant with this reputation you expect a warm welcome and a particular attention by the staff. .....any smile, the attitude of the waitress was unacceptable, after 45 min waiting we asked for our starters and she just said that they had a group...to serve. We had to refill ourself our glasses, because she forgot that the bottle was not empty. Any empathy from the beginning to the end. Luckily the food was delicious. The bill was correct. ...a suggestion to this young lady: change job, you do not have the right attitude for this business.

that was our first meal in friedrichshafen. all excellent. we had the local beer and the spatburgunder wine. the simple fish dishes were beautiful, but simply prepared. we have learned how the week progressed that it is best to order local sea fish instead of ozean. fish, but my salmon was delicious never-the-less. the dessert was excellent. the staff was very polite. we do not speak well German and they did everything to welcome us. the restaurant was beautiful, classic German styling and we had a stand that was comfortable and semi-private. bring them vaccination card and reserve them.

Buchhorner Suben was our second choice for dinner in Friedrichshafen but it turned out to be a perfect choice. As a main course we had local white fish with almond butter, spinach and parsley potatoes, swabian strip loin steak with roasted onions and thyme-jus, bacon-beans...and homemade Spätzles and chicken steaks for children. From the sweets we had dessert variation “Buchhorner Stuben” and variation of black and white mousse au chocolat. All meals were delicious and serving was stylish as well. over we have been very satisfied also with service. Serving waitress was professional, flexible and modest. Voir le carte
