"Il locale propone alternative classiche (spaghetti con le vongole, matasse) e primi che talvolta cambiano con un'accennata proposta di mare e una sezione relativa alle carni e alla braceria. Buona la pasta, colpisce in particolare il Black Angus con provolone del monaco e granella di pistacchio, per via dei suoi profumi affumicati. Personale molto cortese."

"My girlfriend and I stayed here for lunch for our anniversary, very nice location, definitely more valued during the evening, excellent dishes, simple but well studied in the flavors and in the engagement. We took a 5 course tasting and wine tasting. All right. An honor note goes to Maurizio, the owner who besides being extremely competent is really a beautiful person. We spent at least 50 minutes talking to him, told us about how everything was born out of passion doing him another job. He treated us in a special way, making us feel at home. "My husband and I ate tonight at a quaint little restaurant in the old town of Eboli.The setting in a narrow cobbled lane (Via Santa Sofia),is very atmospheric between old buildings.Yet,we ate on the front terrace,complete with ivy, and candles on the linen tablecloths- a lovely ambience. The extensive menu gave you a choice of antipasti, pastas,meat dishes and pizzas. We chose to share the antipasto di casa,which not only comprised of a variety of cheese,meat and tasty bread,but a dish of several different cooked vegetables as well. It was simlpy delicious. We next both ordered pasta dishes;I had a tasty raviol and hubby chose a carbonara. The red wine was also a house special. The waiters were attentive and helped translate the menu for us.It was obvious there was passion and pride in the presentation of their produce. The price was reasonable for the quality of food and service=€35. A great night out."

"Immersi in un mondo bucolico dove regna la pace e la tranquillità in cui sembra che il tempo si sia fermato. I proprietari si mostrano gentili e disponibili, ci hanno ricevuti fuori orario, 14.30, e ci hanno trattati con i guanti bianchi senza farci sentire il bisogno di far in fretta. Il cibo è ottimo e genuino, da segnalare la bontà del piatto consigliato, La matassa . La spesa è veramente contenuta, ottimo, quindi, il rapporto qualità prezzo. È stata una bella sosta prima del rientro in Calabria. PS: Anche i bambini hanno gradito."

"this has to be one of the most amazing culinery experiences of my life my husband watched a tv programme in italy outlining where lorry drivers went to eat in the salerno region and one of these places was called A Camionista situated in Eboli. We went and from the outside it looked like a very ordinary bar, entering, there was a restaurant where lorry drivers and not were eating their food, from simple traditional southern region plates of pasta and mains then there were non lorry drivers who had also come for the experience of tasting some of the best sea food dishes i have eaten in my life. We were shown to a nice dining area outside under a gazebo, plastic table and plastic chair but michelen star service personally delivered by Rosario the lorry driver 's son and his crew of attentive waiting staff. Rosario reads from a menue of the day reeling off plates that are truely top quality, starting with a great mixed starter of small tasting dishes, octupus, salt cod, prawns, salmon, whitebait and a huge bowl of peppered mussels and clams we ordered two of these starters for 4 and believe me they were more than sufficient in quantity and of amazing quality. Bread and bruschetta, seaweed fritters and also an offering of buffalo mozzarella completed this first course. Wine was local to Benevento and even without asking still and sparkling water are bought to the table even before the meal order is taken. As a second course my husband and son shared a huge dish of pasta with mixed seafood and then homemade spagetti with clams, my daughter and i had a saute of clams, razor clams, prawns and more mussels but in sauce not just with pepper. As our third course we ordered two mains which could have fed 6, mixed seafood grill, tuna, sword fish, king prawns, and calamari, then there most popular main, fish stew with garlic bread dog fish, grouper, more mixed shell fish and a wonderful tomatoe and chilli fish broth to soak into the toasted bread. a side of tomatoe and cucumber salad and mixed greens followed by 4 coffees, 4 liquors and a great chat with the servers who really spent the time to attend to us notwithstanding the business of the place on a sunday they serve over 400 customers in a place that barely holds 50 at time. What can i say, the moment of the bill, which we were willing to pay top brass for, but it only came to 90 euros for 4, not even 25 euros a head!!!!!! the crux of this review is this, sunday is busy so not advisable, in the week they work every day and i would strongly recommend a visit then another and so on, as these guys are seriously doing it right they deserve every success and i cannot wait to go again to try every single dish they have to offer, the fish is outstandingly fresh and we bought some of the mozzarella from the latteria about 2 kms away, the buffalos were on site and the shop keeper even gave us the chance to eat as many as we wanted before we left with some great mozzarella and a local cheese amazing. thanks rosario, you know how satisfied we are and we will return as the fish you serve is incredible and you are a great example of a success story destined to really go far. rita, gennaro, maria luisa and giovanni, avellino"
