Afternoon tea for 4 delivered. Lovely fresh sandwiches and delicious scones and cakes. Would highly recomnend trying this as respite during the lockdown.

Lovely cakes and good service but apart from the lovely Irish lady that used to work there the others could be rather grumpy , unfriendly, cold shoulder , in a mood etc

I went to this restaurant for Afternoon Tea today and it was absolutely fantastic. They had a wonderful assortment of homemade cakes and sandwiches on fresh bread. Lida and Geraldine were a delight and truly deserve all the praise they receive. Voir le carte

We was in the area for a meeting and wanted somewhere for breakfast, and found this delightful little tea shop, the scrambled egg on toast was delicious, and we loved all the lovely china used, if I was in the area again would definitely come back and would love to try the afternoon tea.

Hadan afternoon tea for my friends baby shower yesterday and was very impressed. Staff were amazing and choice of drinks was great (various teas, coffees soft drinks) Geraldine was great when I went in to make the booking too so friendly and organised. I will definitely be visiting again!

We took my Dad here to celebrate Father's Day and had a lovely couple of hours. The food was delicious and was replenished throughout our afternoon tea so we left with very full tums. The quality of the food was excellent and the lemon drizzle cake was outstanding, I wish mine tasted as good. My daughter surprised me with a VE Day afternoon tea delivery as a special treat since I live alone and have been unable to go out due to lockdown for eight weeks. The box arrived at my door with red and blue ribbons, containing delicious gluten-free bread sandwiches, a variety of cakes, a slice of sponge cake, a scone with cream and jam, and a large strawberry. Browns truly exceeded my expectations in creating and delivering this delightful treat.

I visited Browns of Bexley based on a recommendation from my mechanic. While I had previously visited to purchase their local honey, I had never stayed for a meal until this time. I am grateful that I did because it was a wonderful experience. The owners were friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful. I was disappointed when I received the call that my car was ready, as I was enjoying my time there so much. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Made several attempts to try book an Afternoon Tea to celebrate a 50th Birthday back on the summer 2019. Constantly phoned over a fortnight but never bothered to answer! So after being recommended I decided to call down to Browns in an attempt to book. Totally wasted my time as admittedly 15 mins prior to closing, staff member abruptly said “I cant give you any information or take a booking now because I’m too busy clearing up! I suggest you phone us!!” Eventually we did manage to book, however, it was a big mistake as no table ready on arrival as promised.
