I’ve visited this restaurant four times in a row, and each time there has been no meat available for the carvery! Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 1.

During my first trip to the buffet, I had to choose between just two remaining sausages, a couple of pieces of burnt bacon, tomatoes that were curling from being left out too long, scrambled eggs that were congealing right before my eyes, and barely warm mushrooms. On a brighter note, the continental options—like croissants, cakes, tea, and coffee—were quite good. I've encountered this issue at various Brewers Fairs over the years, and I understand the challenges involved in managing a buffet. However, the key is to serve fresh food. I was thoroughly appalled during my visit to this restaurant last Friday night! The staff seemed completely disinterested in providing service. I ordered from the NCGI festive menu—not my first choice, but it was all that was offered to me. When I received my burger, it contained a GLUTEN sausage, which was not mentioned on the menu. I can't understand why this information wasn't provided, and it's clear they know the ingredients in their dishes! The chef in the kitchen should be dismissed! This didn't feel like an honest mistake; it felt like I was being singled out, especially since it wasn't even a festive sausage.
