Great spot for cheap eats! Staff accommodated our Scout group of 18, without notice. Food was fresh and servings large. 6.50 for a meal! The location is down a side alley, just off the street.

This restaurant is a fantastic option if you're looking for a quick meal in the town center. The staff is very friendly, and the food is homemade and delicious. At £5, it's definitely great value for money.

True budget stuff. Cheap drink apart form the stupid increase at weekends, WHY!!?! WHYYYYY?? it just makes me go else where! cheap food, served by dinner-lady, just what you want lovely staff clean toilets comfortable seating however, smoking area tends to leak, and on busy times it can be a little uncomfortable for us non-smokers.

I like what they've done with the place which used to be Bread and Butter and was quite run down. Now it's lively and nice, with high tables and stools, other lower tables, big bar, some tables outside too. Good cocktails! They have a wide range of beers and some cocktails on tap for only 7.50 which is great, including an Espresso Martini, very tasty. Live music on a Friday night was a bit too loud for us.

tucked away. doon the same track as the famous chippy is this canteen cum bar that serves good honest comfort to a bargain price. I like a cake and used for the steak and gravy that was fresh and delightful. this plus a quality beer was just £6. it is not shocked at any wise, but has a edgy chic attack. Anyway, there is a lot of space to relax and it was busy with local workers and buyers who enjoy lunch. it's worth a try. Voir le carte

we had good looks of groupon for 4 cocktails for 2 for bread butter on our last girl at night out.i had never been in this bar, it was a great wee found. it was a busy Saturday night, but we have a table and the table service is a good idea, we all ordered our cocktails and nibbles, the pina coladas are for dying. all cocktails that the group had ordered were beautiful. friendly attentive staff, beautiful atmosphere, good mood. good night round

Came here to meet all my friends for my 30th for a complete **** up, and I got what I came for. I had certain expectations which were met and in hindsight went above and beyond. We had a decent spread of finger food put out and a large table to accommodate all my friends. Everyone got served and had no issues. As more drink flowed we did get slightly more rowdy but not anti-social by any means, we were left to our own devices. The staff were great and accomdating even when I fell asleep on the table at 9pm.

had the unfortunate to go in broth and butter today. my sister bought me a group voucher for me and my partner to eat together at lunchtime. When we first came in, we were ignored by the personal, I had to stop someone and ask our table, then one table showed and the guy was very rude in the way he did. a woman then came to get the voucher from us and was rude to explain what we could have from the menu that and that. the information she gave us about the drinks we were loud was wrong, as the voucher said differently, but she ignored me when I challenged that, then stormed away when our drinks and eating were brought to us, it was taken to us, Voir le carte
