"on the occasion of a big conference I meet with former colleagues on 8th july evening in the brewhouse Bönnsch in bonn. here is supposed to be a conference day cozy, and my former colleagues invited me to this. to the forty people. the mobile basic remains in the garage, rather drink a few beer, than drive back and forth quickly and conveniently. with public transport, so it goes in direction bonn, sterntorbrücke. the environment here in the star gate bridge 4 in the pedestrian zone has the brewhouse bönnsch its home. in front of the magnificent building in a house line invites the outdoor gastronomy of the house to stay. here tastes the bright, the in-house beer, certainly especially good at summer evenings. for our large group are reserved in the cellar of the house several long biertische. we sit in a vaulted cellar, the furniture in typical brewhouse style, bare biertische, natural. the physics of the sound waves naturally requires her next to only forty persons: it is quite loud in the cellar. and with the rest of the last 40-degree day and the about 75 watts that radiate each person, it is also very warm. Now yes, the beer will cool down and three and a half stars for the environment. the service we are serviced by several service personnel. they make their job very skillful, friendly and fast. they take the table and serve so. which works quickly and without great search for the ordering device. also an empty glass does not have to wait long for the full successor, the ladies and gentlemen of the service are attentive and bring quickly exchange. while some of our people are intriguing, others are already studying the menus that were quickly distributed by the service forces. When you ask for the drinks, you hear a few: a hate. we will first eat in bungalow 1,70 € for 0.2 l. the hate is a natural beer with a carol-like name. it is sprouty and very sinful, a beer for hot days. it is served in curved bars. the outer arc of the glass is provided with handle troughs for the finger. more ergonomic and user-friendly than a Bönsch glass cannot be drunk. the bier tastes excellent. whether it's like eating? the menu is Rhine-regionally shaped and lists dishes from the typical brewhouse kitchen: gulaschsuppe, sausage salad, sülze, schweinshaxe, Rhenish madbraten and other rhenish specialties are offered beside flammkuchen, carving, steaks and pancake dishes. from the price some dishes produce a high expectations, such as a bönnsche currywurst from the calf with a fairy-blue, madras-curry, potato ecze and criminal salad at 11,20 €. similar that I choose with the • heringsfilet after rhenish housewives in yoghurt sauce with gurke, apfatel, red beef proud 11,90 € are excellent. if it's very good? there is no greeting from the kitchen. it takes a pastness, of course, until the first table is supplied with a good dozen people. on a large rectangular dish my heringsfilet is served. on a bed of salats leaves covered a rich layer of tweebel red feet pieces, among which the heringsfilet is probably hidden. next to this ensemble lies a partly rough, bratkartoffeler pfahl. two tomato quarters give contrast to the salate leaves. the bratkartoffels could have been a bit more roasted, and I would have liked them even more. so they are visually and tastefully rather mediocre, and the necessary after seasoning with salt and pepper does not change anything. some potato slices were already cooled after serving, only warm. the yoghurt sauce tastes quite neat, from the red betten salat should it have been a little more. the heringsfilets are also arranged tastefully, but I don't count more than two filets and one filet piece. measured on the kartoffel and zwiebelberg, but above all at the price there is an imbalance in it. the food cost. but more than one o.k, so three stars, I don't forgive here. I didn't hear, but I didn't hear any lobeshyms. I have nothing to do with cleanliness, both in the dining room and on the tables and on the toilet. the toilet is kept by personal and clean, in a brewhouse certainly helpful for the cleanliness. the price-performance ratio my eating classified as mediocre, the service forces that serve our group make a good job, the prices of some dishes, also the my heringsfilets, are in the upper segment. for the price of the heringsfilet they can expect more. therefore I guess the price-performance ratio is two and a half star. that closes when I say o.k, so three stars. rather because of the beer than because of eating I speak a recommendation. Unfortunately, the quality of the picture can be desired, as I photographed in the vaulted cellar without flash."
