Brasserie Vacherin - Carte

Lunch for two with one beer and one glass of wine. Very overpriced. Prawn starter still had intestine tract in situ staff uninterested. Steak perfectly cooked but let's be honest thats not difficult. Dessert Ok but nothing special considering the price.

Looks small from outside but very deceptive. Great atmosphere even with a very large party we still had a romantic evening. Expensive but worth it. Menu excellent and lots of good choices with great service. Approx for two with cores and bottle wine. Will be going back. Voir le carte

excellent eating. I've eaten some paints with my family since she opened. the personal was always attentive and eating is always great. it is not cheap, but if you have the set menu, you can keep the price below. I know we have a good evening and will not be disappointed when we eat in the brasserie vacherin.

I thought it was overpriced. not enough hot starter. atlantic prawn starter is in the ground normal undamaged garnel with some salat on the plate and pot the sose thrown, in other words it is a di prawn cocktail. where is the cookery in it. it took hr before our starter order was accepted. the menu has not changed since I went there years ago. it is safe at the time to change it especially as they do not have daily / weekly specials

Snob value. I tried this place for the first and last time after I passed it for a few years, I will continue in the future. my partner and I had dinner on a very Wednesday night shortly after the courses took us over hours to get and were very poor. my starter of smoked makrele with what proported, a horse raddish kartoffel salat was half a filet striaght from the ice pack and the whole dish had less taste than the tannizing pieces of the garnel. the two main courses were not better, dry at the duck and the most expensive butdeen angus burger of the world, boiled to a cripple if it was only asked that it was cooked all the way through and served with...more Voir le carte

disappoint. we booked a table on May 30 for a famous meal. if they like steak, the quality is good, but not exceptional I would say. the herbal side parts are a little meagre and the chips surprisingly blanden really. brot is good quality, wein expensive. pre-eating French cuisine we know our wobbles there! I have ordered green bohnensalat to begin with comte cheese, what I love it was noticeable by its absentness: only a few tired looking flocks here and there. my main thing: goat cheese and red tweeted was very unstoppable and nothing I have surpassed in France. coffee was acceptable, but tepid. we were not tempted to stay on dessert, our waitress hardly...read more

Sutton is very far from a culinary destination. With the high street lined with mediocre middle sized chain restaurants such as Zizzi, Strada and Pizza Express, Brasserie Zacherin brings a touch of decorum just outside the station. It's a winner especially due to it's steak for a tenner, with chips and wine. While sirloin probably not my most favourite of cuts at this price you can't argue. There a la carte isn't really that adventurous, in particular their choice of starters, and onion soup gratin for way too pricey, see Brasserie Zedel for simple starters at proper value.
