Bramleys Brasserie At The Orchard

I frequently visit The Orchard and dine at Bramleys. The service is always top-notch and the food is consistently excellent. Keep up the great work!

We had a lovely meal with very good service. Perhaps a slightly wider choice of dishes on the menu would be good, but other than that a very enjoyable evening.

I had the smallest portion of rice with a sweet potato curry and it let down what was otherwise a nice meal. It could have also done with either a nann bread or popadom. I would also recommend improving the wine list.

Really lovely evening, quite a small menu but plenty for all tastes. Service was really good- charming, chatty staff, despite being really busy with graduation celebrations. Would recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

The menu at this restaurant is very disappointing, as it mainly consists of burgers and pizza with everything served with chips. The hotel seems to be more focused on hosting events and is not interested in catering to individual bookings.

very nice venue and good service. I had a salad nearly £15 for a chopped tomato and cucumber, with bits of olives and cheese, and a ton of raw red onion. It is simply unbelievable how such a primitive dish can be served in restaurant settings.

There was no background music so we were able to have conversations easily. The food, service, and birthday platter were outstanding. The lights on the tables were a nice touch. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. Thank you for an excellent meal.

A lovely clean and well presented room. The food was nice and reasonably priced. The young waiters that served the food did not make any eye contact or even speak to ask who ordered what, just put the plates on the table and walked away. The food was being wondered around aimlessly not knowing what table they were serving. More training should be provided to receive a better experience.

I was very impressed by Bramley's Brasserie. I was hosting an important visitor from the university, and this is the only appropriate place on campus for a business dinner. The menu is not as adventurous as it was a few years ago, but that is understandable. What is not understandable is that, despite there being very few other tables occupied, it took them 45 minutes to bring our (not basic) food, making us late for our afternoon sessions! The drinks arrived after half an hour, and the waitress explained that they were late because there are two different systems in place. Perhaps they should consider using just one system! The drinks then sat for 15 minutes before our food finally arrived....
