Fantastic pies, pasties and sausage rolls! We've eaten in and bought frozen pies for home cooking and they're all home made using local meat and taste delicious. Highly recommended!

We go there regularly to buy pies funnily enough. The sit down pie chips and gravy are superb when you have some spare time. If not, just go in and buy a take away pie. They are stupendous and are ridiculously cheap. If only pies...were good for you

hands down best cake I've ever tasted! I try to have another one each time and was never disappointed. the owner matt is clearly a master of his trade and one of the nicest young people they want to meet...can not recommend this place enough that they have to go and experience it for themselves they will not be disapointed.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious steak pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meal was one of the best I have ever had, with generous portions of juicy steak and flavorful gravy. The restaurant has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, and I will definitely be returning. I recently tried a Vegan Cornish Pasty at a restaurant near Pokesdown train station. The owner was friendly and also offered a choice of soy and root vegetable cake or a pig-less pie, all vegan. The pastries were very fresh and delicious, with a moist soy, onion, and potato filling served hot in a paper bag. They were very filling and a great value at £2.75. There is a small seating area if you want to eat there, but you can also take the cakes home to enjoy later.
