Charming restaurant with excellent service. We enjoyed a great deal of two cocktails for the price of one. The chicken liver was also fantastic. I'm definitely planning to return for a proper dinner or lunch.

Had a really lovely meal here to celebrate a birthday. Staff were attentive and kind, the food was delicious and the restaurant is cosy and intimate. Would definitely come here again! Had wine, a starter and shared a big steak with sides and the bill came to around £90. Everything was amazing!

The best steaks in Tooting! The service was amazing ,really friendly and professional. I loved the lunch special which for the quality was really affordable at £10 for 200g steak and fries. I had the Sunday Roast, opting for both the chicken and the Sunday Roast burger. Both dishes were outstanding. The gravy was fantastic, and the burger bun was delightful. The staff were very friendly, and the cocktails were creative. The Tatin Old Fashioned was exceptional—like having dessert in a glass. I will definitely go back!

Lovely french restaurant in Tooting Broadway market with all the classics on offer. Great bustling atmosphere in the market, food is great quality (they really do cook steak blue when asked! and fantastic cocktails. Only slight downside is the seating opposite the restaurant although is a cosy settling, can be a little on the cold side.

I visited for lunch on a quiet Wednesday and discovered this charming little gem hidden in Tooting Market. The £10 steak and frites deal was very satisfying and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes for the starters were generous, and the dessert, an apple tatin, was beautifully crafted with immaculate flavors. I would definitely go back! Voir le carte

Visited for Sunday lunch, all was delicious apart from the meat. I think I just got unlucky, the meat was extremely fatty and cold. Having said that apart from that the roast itself was delicious and made up for the disappointing meat (would have rated 5 if it wasn’t for the meat). My boyfriends steak was delicious. Will definitely be returning for the steak!

I visited Bordelaise with my partner on Valentines day to have their set menu. The food was delicious and there was vegetarian options for me. However, if you are a meat eater the steak looked incredible. The wine was some of the best I've ever had and went perfectly with the meal. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server went above and beyond, when me and my partner couldn't decide which dessert to go for, so bought out 2 and only charged for 1. I will definitely be going back.

Tooting Broadway market has many great little places nowadays and Bordelaise is certainly one. Good food and surprisingly large seating area for the location. In our group we ordered two (very reasonably priced) flat iron steaks, both medium rare. One was perfect, the other was rare (close to blue) for a steak place to undercook a flat iron is not great. Yes, most places opt for undercook since it can be thrown back on, but this is sliced steak being re cooked, so it will not retain tenderness. The surprising highlight was the ox cheek stew, but note that the mash comes with carrots and bacon. This really should be stated somewhere in the menu.
