"We went to the restaurant on Saturday night for dinner. The booking was made smoothly online and the staff was friendly and attentive during the night. Unfortunately, the food was below the average of London Korean restaurants, but it calculated decent money. I do not recommend the restaurant to eat Korean food, as there are many other Korean restaurants in central London. The restaurant is more like a bar. The place has a large counterbar and a variety of cocktails. Unfortunately, they play music really loud like a pub full of 18 years old, and the customers at night on the counter were really drunk and loudly spoken. It completely ruined my dinner experience in Bo Drake. Maybe the Happy Hour offer has attracted a false kind of crowd? We ate as fast as possible and left within less than an hour. It is an overestimated Soho Square that simply catches the latest wave of modern Korean(ish) in London. I won't come back and Bo Drake won't recommend anyone."

Love it! The dishes are creative and delicious! They also make really good cocktails!

I believe that Bo Drake is suffering from a bit of an identity crisis. I walked away underwhelm and confused. Maybe it's hayday has passed. Went for a date night and had the KFC, Bo Ssam and Rib Stack. I guess our fault for being too meat heavy. The meat portions were larger than expected. The food was great but not amazing.

Korean fusion and a little more, Bo Drake is a nice establishment in central Soho. Walk ins accepted, it has an eclectic mix of food. We started off with cocktails as they do have a nice selection, and sampled the variety of dishes, tapas style. I rated the japche and baos which were delicious. It's a great venue, and the food is decent, however in my opinion a little too dear in comparison to the level of dishes served.

The menu at Bo Drake is a veritable jumble of geographies. You can kick back pisco sours and eat burrata while you wait for your pork belly bao. That 's not necessarily a bad thing. But the execution here is pretty poor. The dishes are original on paper but very much underwhelming in real life. Service is not great either. Our drinks took a very long time to arrive because there was a queue at the bar.. Not tempted to go back anytime soon.

These days, London is truly at the culinary crossroads of the world. So much so that some of the Boozybunch have almost eaten our way through the alphabet in the alphabet dining club where we started in a restaurant serving food from a country starting with the letter A, then B, C, D, etc. So perhaps, London does need a Korean/Mexican BBQ restaurant. The brainchild of a colourful pair of chefs, I think they and the media have settled on the term Korexican to describe their food at Bo Drake. By the way, Bo Drake is not related to Bo London

great place to experience some beautiful Korean fusion small plates. we didn't try anything from the netzen, but they sounded fantastic. we got a good rehearsal of the small plates. I am such a sucker for a good bao and I was thoroughly impressed by this. the black baby was soft and juicy and one of the highlights for me on the menu. the fried chicken came in a tight second. her soy season (I think was salty, but sweet and only devine. I have also tried their kimchi pancakes (with mozeralla cheese! and I think that was their only one that was really let down. it didn't taste enough for me. I hope to come back soon. I highly recommend to book as this place is busy quickly!

for Muslim diners the search for a halal Korean restaurant was always a relatiw reckless task. as such it would be very easy to recommend bo drake on this basis alone, but that would be nothing short of a great injustice. the truth is that bo drake is a pretty good restaurant in its own right, and the bold and lively aromes that are to be found in their food are all as seductive as their unique fusion menu. admitted, the menu is currently a little limited for Muslim diner, and there is still much room for improvement, but that does not change the fact that they bring something completely different. actually, how the tired old cultural conflict of east vs. west projects...read more

I loved going to Bo Drake for a refreshing take on Asian fusion cuisine. Bó Drake combines everything I love about Asian food, from the sweetness of the pickled kimchi to the succulent seafood, with the rustic smoky flavor of European barbeque. Before I even talk about the food we enjoyed, I have to mention the quality of the service. From the moment my friend and I entered the restaurant, we were greeted with smiling, friendly faces. We were promptly seated at a cozy table, and really made to feel welcome. Our server went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. The portion sizes were perfect, and so incredibly tasty. We started with appetizers, the KFC –...read more
