"We came a couple of times for breakfast during our short trip to the Isle of Wight as our hotel did not do breakfast and the options in Ryde seemed limited. We came early (around 09.00am) and found that when we arrived both times we were one of the first ones there. The food both times was very good, with large portions. I loved the sausages. Small children not that keen but probably because they are fresh and not over cooked, so children are more used to processed food. The children loved the rest of the breakfast, hence the second visit. It did take a while for food to come (maybe half an hour each time) , so I can see if you came later you would have a longer wait as per the other reviews. It is though a farm establishment, so I think you have to take that into consideration and come here if you are flexible on time. Kid loved the calves that can be petted outside the cafe. Service the first time was a little binary. We had a fussy eater and wanted tp vary the option and that didn't seem to go down too well. Second time, different waitress, and no bother and we didn't feel like we were being a pain (even if we were). A good find, and by far the best option in the area"

This restaurant is amazing - we make sure to stop by every year for breakfast before catching the ferry back home. The farmers breakfast is a great addition to the menu.

I'm giving 5 stars because there was an issue with our meal but it was dealt with very quickly no quibble and with substantial discount. I would try again. By the way portion sizes were great. Friendly staff and lovely outside seating area. Dennis

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The breakfast here is excellent and the staff are attentive and genuinely friendly. They even welcome dogs, and there are three adorable calves outside to entertain children. The farm shop offers fresh local produce, making it a lovely addition to the experience.

Wanted to try the Briddlesford farm cafe, arrived and seated quickly, order taken and 1 hour later informed that part of the order was now not available as the ham was not of good enough quality! Given some free drinks but that did not make up for the long wait for food and no notice that it was going to ge so long. Noticed others asking about where the food was very disappointing

Visited the cafe today for what is usually one of the best breakfasts on the island. We were told on ordering that they had run out of there delicious sausages. We were offered extra bacon instead or halloumi. However the farm shop had plenty of their sausages in stock. So they hadn't run out after all. They could have at least offered a voucher to take a couple home and cook ourselves.

Only on the Isle of Wight for the day I did some research before the visit Briddlesfoed Farm Shop was on my list definitely not to be missed if you are heading to Isle of Wight. At the cafe I had the best halloumi cheese I have ever tasted my partner loved his parsnip soup toastie chios combination. What a great idea. We left with some lovely local bread couple.of cheeses the farms amazing butter. I hope I can place an online order for delivery for their amazing dairy products in the future!

We came here for a breakfast on a Sunday morning, we ordered at 10.59am and received our breakfasts at 11.47, while I appreciate the cafe was busy what we received was not worth the wait! Deep fried bacon, cold mushroom, sausage was warm at best, eggs were so snotty it turned my stomach and I ordered a potato rosti to come on the side and I received two hash browns which is not a rosti but no one mentioned the change. The staff were doing their best and running around all over the place, maybe we just picked a bad day but I won’t be going back to find out. We asked for a refund and left

We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Osborne House and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is surrounded by a field of Guernsey cattle and most of the food items are sourced from their own farm, including eggs, pies, and sausages. We decided to try their cream tea, which included a homemade scone with farm butter and clotted cream, Tayberry Raspberry jam, and tea with milk from their dairy herd. They also offer a Savoury Cream tea with local cheese and tomato chutney on a farm cheese scone. Overall, the food was very enjoyable. The only downside was the sausage roll, as the pastry was soft and soggy. It could have been improved by crisping it up in an air fryer instead of...
