"my blue Nile journey began to see several photos of the same schirrs over and over on instagram. I was just curious and finally found out where it was served and what it was and of course, it was vegan so I had to try it out. there are some vegan dishes on the menu that is really meat heavy and they are all great. the cabbage and the cut kartoffels are one of my favorites. but if they are new to blue nile and want to try what they have to offer in a hit, they go for the court for which I went: the yesom beyayinetu. for less than a tens they get a huge round dish with injera brot, on which half dozen or so portion of food and extra bread on the side are. no cute here, this is a very hand on experience! the court is a mixture of lenses in different sauces, spread beans, kartoffels, kohl and salat. I have actually seen a few people take this up and eat it themselves, but if they have no great appetit, two can easily share this dish, which means for over a ten with drinks, they get some of the best food in the city. that is very difficult to compete. fair warning for sweet and vegan it is a meat heavy menu and the walls (an Ethiopian business) have some animals in the origin artefacts hanging on the walls. when they can look past these, they expect something amazing to eat."

I was here a few times and loved each time I was! authentic Ethiopian food and workers are always able to recommend other possibilities, what to have when I stuck. a beautiful selection of vegan options to offer and tastefully injera supplements its taste. definitely recommend for those who want to try something else.

If you've never tried Ethiopean food then don't wait any longer. It is amazingly flavoursome I've bought a berbere spice mix to use at home. The injera bread is also delicious. Tip don't fill up on the extra bread as you will want to eat the bread that makes up the base plate too, which all the sauces have soaked into.

had a huge injera brot with various vegans dressed on it. bill came to 25 for 2 drinks and the vegan common meal for two. the food was so delicious. I was full of it but felt not inflated, probably due to the food healthy and legume concentrated. would go back and recommend. there is a veggie section within the menu, but they are able to be vegan on the safe side.

we ate here last night. eating was excellent, but I'm not absolutely convinced that it's a lot of understanding for the difference between veggie and vegan. there is a vegetarian menu page (which has a fish dish on) and they said it was all vegan. After we said that, we ordered a veggie 'sharing teller' and specified no milk, no cheese, and have no reason to think we have one. it was good eating and cheap £18 overall and we were both filled.

I've eaten at several ethiopian restaurants around in country and I've been eating at the blue nile for many years now and i think it's consistently been the best I've tried. There is a good selection of dishes and the injera is the best. The dishes are well cooked and brilliantly flavored. While not marked, most of the dishes on the vegetarian page are vegan, just ask the staff are friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough. Updated from previous review on 2018-01-01
