food tasty. brought everyone’s food out except for one. completely forgot about a meal ,once brought nice. no sides available although the coffee was nice.

Stopped for a coffee and cake, what a lovely building, old yes, but really interesting. Very friendly staff, all smiles and helpful Good luck to the newbie who started today.

We were on a day trip to Sheffield and had researched this cafe before arriving. It actually exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly and the food was wholesome and delicious (and generous! We would definitely return if we were in Sheffield again. Voir le carte

Really enjoyed our latest visit here. Great spaced out tables and table service. Food was excellent very tasty falafel option with salads. Homity pie classic was good. Sweet potato fries generous portion and super crispy. Only criticism is plain options for children are non existent. I would bring a pack up for them next time.

Rosa, the chef at the Blue Moon, is full of imagination as she produces delicious vegan meals which even dedicated meat eaters will enjoy. Colourful, varied, extremely tasty and satisfying, and she made a stuffed pumpkin dish especially for my friend, avoiding all ingredients to which she is allergic. She was delighted. I will return.

We had lunch at the Blue Moon today and were really impressed by the quality of the freshly prepared food. The chef has a deft touch with spices. I have complex allergies which I had notified ahead of our arrival and the pumpkin and hazelnut dish prepared for me was simply delicious. The two other members of our party ate from the menu and were equally delighted. We sat comfortably chatting for quite a while. The staff were friendly and attentive. Voir le carte

I went here with my friend after shopping and found a very poor service. We had got there late and the waiter said he was very sorry all the food to order had gone. Having eaten here in the past and really liked the good quality vegetarian dishes such as chick pea casserole and green olive pie I was disappointed to find some poor quality, overpriced soya rolls. It's worth me and friends making the effort to get here early to sample the good wholesome food to hope this was just a one off and that it will be better in the future.

Had lunch today at Blue Moon Cafe for first time in several months. Food was so tasty I had the carrot and cumin falafels with 4 different salads. All so well put together and flavoursome could have scoffed more! Only reason I've given it a 4 rating is that the staff member on the counter told me it was table service and then forgot to come over to the table and take my order, so I eventually had to go back to the counter to ask to be served. But hey, small beer in the grand scheme of things. I do thoroughly recommend this cafe and its excellent food.

I was looking forward to my lunch there as whenever I 've visited Sheffield for the day over the last 10 years or so I 've always had a nice lunch there...but...sigh...things have changed since my last visit. It used to be counter service so you could get your food straight away and there was always somewhere to sit because the space had a reasonable number of albeit tightly packed tables. Now it is table service and fewer tables, so harder to get a seat. All the staff were behaving as if it was their first day on the job, and the kitchen was having problems to quote one of the staff this might have explained why the advertised carrot and coriander soup magically turned into curried carrot s...
