Loved it friendly staff nice and clean, good food. We booked for next Friday. Fish night 2 x Haddock and chips two glasses of wine £20 not bad. We all had haddock chips and peas prefect. With a glass wine spot on worth a visit 5 stars

First time we have been to The Black Lake Inn tonight and will deffo be returning! The food is outstanding! The pies are perfect as are the chips! Prices are very reasonable! The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much bother! Thank you :

excellent service, attentive professional staff, warm cozy ambiente, a good choice of weeping, storage and ale as well as an extensive menu that offers a good value and is also perfectly prepared. we enjoyed our meals immensely and will eventually return to the future.

Clean and well presented with a friendly welcome from the outset. The Black Lake was reassuringly busy but still comfortable. The food was pretty much first rate. Delighted that you can ask for a steak to be cooked to your liking and it arrives spot on. Massive plus homemade proper chips

beautiful relaxed atmosphere, service friendly, eat the price worth the one they pay. when I cooked myself, we had no problems with our eating and compliments to her kitchen team. only on the bottom were steak knives sharper. will be back and would recommend this facility for family and friends.

Had a wonderful mother’s day celebration , I had smoked haddock on crush potatoes with veg, sauce to die for, my wife had the lamb shank, with good mash and veg, my wife commentated on how the lamb just fell away from the bone. Service excellent even though the place was heaving and didn’t have to wait to long for the meals to come out. Complements to everyone.

EXELLENT went here yesterday 14 of us for Mothers birthday had lovely Meals, the staff are very polite,served very quickly as there was 14 of us, everyone were really Full and Happy with there Meals and desserts lovely place to go, tried to book for Fathers Day but was very disappointed to be told only taking orders for up to ten people, but never mind will defo be booking in the future.

first, but not last visit we came to our high season meal and were not disappointed, the food was perfectly cooked and presented and of good portion size. the staff was welcome at the arrival with only 10 minutes waiting time as we arrived for our booking early, the staff were helpful and well presented, the tables deleted as soon as the guests stayed very efficient at each level. the entire atmosphere was relaxing and made our night an unforgettable . visit them if they are not finished yet.

to be four times, eating was always nice, very good choice to arrange. I especially like the homemade cakes, delicious I do not order shop and takes a afternoon to make a home so without the hassle is a tasty as a Sunday roast well. I have no puddings, but my man seems to enjoy them and they are well presented. good selection of drinks. had a few mosque mosquitoesaulting during a visit never had them before, but recommended. it is a beautiful restaurant and pub, beautiful atmosphere, personal are friendly.
