"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The gluten free beer was excellent, and when I mentioned that I have celiac disease, the server assured me that I could still have a gluten free pizza. They explained that the pizza is prepared separately and cooked on its own tray in the same oven to avoid cross-contamination. If you are extremely cautious about gluten exposure, you may want to skip the pizza here, but I feel completely fine after my meal and enjoyed the experience of having pizza and beer in a bar with other patrons. The pizza itself was delicious as well."

Have gluten free bases but cooked in same oven as non GF food so NOT coeliac friendly

I really enjoyed the Gluten Free beer at this restaurant! Unfortunately, I couldn't try the pizza because I'm also lactose intolerant and it contains milk.

Contamination risk sadly with their pizza, they’re prepared separately but baked in the same pizza oven on the same surface as the regular pizzas. Not safe for coeliacs. Managed to have a salad though. Voir le carte

I expected more after pictures and reviews. I had the vegan mushroom pizza. looks great and the first bites were good, but quickly boring. suggestion: add some pesto to make it more interesting updated by previous review on 2022-01-15

For some reason they don't advertise their gluten free pizza bases, but they are the same size as normal pizzas at no extra cost! As a coeliac, I didn't have any noticeable reaction. Was also informed one of their kitchen-staff members is also coeliac and also doesn't have any issues eating their gf pizzas.

They offer gluten-free pizza bases for all their pizzas. The staff are well-informed and will inquire about any dietary restrictions such as being coeliac or having allergies. Gluten-free pizzas are prepared separately and cooked in the same oven as regular pizzas, but are kept on a different surface. I have dined here numerous times and have never experienced any issues, despite being very sensitive to cross-contamination. Voir le carte

came originally for the beer, but ended with a pizza (with my beer I have the artichoke / pesto in, I don't know what cheese substitute they use, but it has no taste, there is a creamy note though, mozzarella like. the pizza has a thin crispy crust and is quite easy, I could actually eat it all! They are wood-fired cooked, which is also beautiful! their beers are usually organic and they advertise that they are carbon-neutral. updated by previous review on 2022-05-11

The g-f bases had been freshly made so they didn’t know if they were ready for us, so the kitchen did a trial pizza (for our 6-year old to make sure they were ready, and THEN comped his pizza for the “inconvenience.” As it turned out, the bases were good to go and they were the BEST g-f pizzas we’ve had in a LONG LONG time. They have g-f beers too, if you’re drinking (we weren’t— long car ride home! . The crust was nice and light and the menu was original and delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
