A warm and friendly bar restaurant with a very welcoming host. A great place to relax and easy walk from the City Marina. Great assortment of spirits and wine. Closed on Sundays.

We drive 4-5 times a year to Cuxhaven and are looking forward to going to eat in the whale almost daily in advance, because we are more than satisfied with the excellent food and the always friendly service. Inge and Norbert from Bonn

I've eaten many times there and eating was always excellent. even the salads are really great and I can only recommend the restaurant. there was also a very great dessert, which unfortunately no longer exists. three in a pana cotta, cream brule and eis. Voir le carte

Dinate under a real whale. The place right at the port is a bit difficult to find at the first start, but the search is worth it. The extremely cozy ambience on two levels, the friendly crew and the good and fresh kitchen with basics from Schnitzel to fish and pasta invites you to repeat. You feel comfortable here.

We also tried in other restaurants, but every evening it went to the whale. A friendly crew, the card is manageable, but the quality is right. The portions are for adults, optically well prepared and taste. Also the drinks are fast and chilled at the table. the crew as well as the boss are fast, friendly and also have time for a small talk. In short, price performance vote, simply recommend.

Wir waren heute Abend in der Wal Marina Lounge. Der Abend fing auch gut an , die Vorspeisen waren wirklich lecker. Die Hauptspeise war so mittelmäßig, dass Lamm war leider ein bisschen zu durch, auch der Gemüsebratling war leider sehr hart. Wir haben dies dann reklamiert und als Entschädigung 2 Sekt bekommen , dies war sehr nett. Danach wurde uns netterweise noch eine kostenlose Nachspeise angeboten. Wirklich zuvorkommend! Zu unserer Überraschung standen diese dann aber auf der Rechnung. Entweder war dies ein blöder Zufall oder wirklich eine unhöfliche Geste. Insgesamt war der Abend leider nicht ganz gelungen.
