Really nice restaurant. It had been refurbished since my last visit. Steak pudding was amazing. Massive cakes were too. Good, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Always my 'go to ' restaurant when I 'm in the area.

Really nice home-made chicken pie, and veg, natural not frozen. You can tell it's been done properly with slits to the sprouts that's good with attention to detail. It is very nice I will return again to this place to eat again for evening dinner

Here by chance on the way to catch a tram in Blackpool to see the lights of a night. It saw fish and chips, so we decided to try. Fish and chips were some of the best we ever tasted and the puddings were also very good. With cheap house wine also what is not to be like. Can be highly recommended. Voir le carte

My wife had fish, chips and peas.. really tasty and fairly priced. I had pudding, chips and peas which was also very nice and fairly priced. The chips were 10/10 and as good as I 've ever had in this type of place. We enjoyed the whole experience and will be back. If I can have a tiny constructive criticism though then I say the pudding filling was a bit too runny and needed a few 'bits ' in there.

Absolutely breathtaking. The place itself was perfectly clean. The food was the best I ever tasted (the fish and chips are very recommended by me) the cakes, and the sheer size of them are from this world, but the prices are NOT. The staff is beautiful and polite and there are plenty of seats. I'm insecure about the parking lot when we walked over the tram that is a two-minute walk away. Would recommend definatley.

I visited this restaurant in Blackpool and it was the only place I wanted to go for food. I have been coming here for many years, ever since I was a child visiting the illuminations. I was pleased to find that despite the passage of 20 years, the service and the fish and chips were still as great as ever. I don't understand why this place is as popular or as highly recommended as it is. Incredibly busy, jammed in like sardines, pricing not keen. Fish was nice but chips were under par and the curry sauce was grim. Light brown jelly blobs of mildly spicy goo. Bread and butter. Why pre-spread it if your staff are only going to do a diagonal line of spread from one corner to the other? Just provide some spread with the bread, job done. Put it in a ramakin if your concerned about costs. Toilets are grim. I appreciate I'm in a minority but avoid in IMHO

This place is a huge rip off. 2.20 for a tea cup of coffee, 4.20 for cheese on toast 1 slice with cheese 1 without) and the big breakfast was not big at all then 40p for 2 tiny sachets of brown sauce though u only need a bit as there's nowt to put it on. It looks great, but even when I went to counter a guy behind it didn't even acknowledge me being there, just got himself a huge coffee and went out back. The lady who served me was nice and as such they clawed 1 star back. It seems they care alot about there puddings glass cabinet full of great looking cream buns) but they food was just OK, and over priced for small portions. I've been 2 times and there will not be a third

AMAZING! We took the tram from the central pier and saw your signs - it looked delicious! So we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We ordered two traditional leg of lamb plates with gravy, carrots, potatoes, and broccoli. We also enjoyed a hot tea and a white coffee with a splash of Kahlua. For dessert, we shared the incredible strawberry pavlova - a meringue filled with fresh cream and chocolate. It was a delicious and satisfying meal for only £4.95 each (excluding drinks and dessert). The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the bar was a decent size. We felt safe as there were no masks required. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wond...
