Fantastic transformation of a once run down pub. Great beer range, friendly staff and an extensive beer garden make it superb. Oh, and given that it's my local, I will definitely be back!

the bar staff was very friendly, it is also dog-friendly. we had a drink and eat. the meals were very good, beautiful and hot. I had steak and nierenpudding, chips and inherit (very nice.) jenny had Mexican huh.

This restaurant is wonderful. Terry and Dee are fantastic hosts, very accommodating. They even let us bring our dog into the bar and shower him with love. The food is delicious and the function room is top-notch. Voir le carte

I visited the beer garden on a sunny Sunday afternoon with friends, enjoying delicious G&T's at this wonderful little pub. It was my first time there, but I will definitely be returning in the future. I loved it.

In my opinion, the best pub/food combination in Stafford. It's owned by Black Country Ales, so you're guaranteed a good choice of ales (usually at least 10), but unlike a lot of their pubs this one serves food. There's plenty to good value options to...

Just had tea at our favourite pub in Stafford, food was fantastic, beers lovely and a great selection and even a nice brew after my food. Staff are fantastic and nothing is so much trouble. Lovely cosy pub and just what you need on a cold winters night. X. Voir le carte

yesterday at our day trip had never had a drink in stafford before, but wow what a pub as usual black country ales do their pubs up to a very high standard I had 2 pints of reale ale then for the still cider superb staff was nothing too much labor top class space

First visit to Stafford yesterday and had a recommendation to call in here from a cousin. We called in for lunch and they did not disappoint. The menu was spot on and the pricing is brilliant! We really could not fault the place, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Will definitely call again if in Stafford.

in the last minute we had to book a social lunch for our cycling group when the spittal brook unexpectedly closed. we had an excellent lunch, eating was first class and good value for money. 15 people sat down and served within 10 minutes, because we ordered before using the Facebook page, it would highly recommend for each group, but even better because they have a separate functional space. service was super, friendly and helpful people, what they could ask more. selection of beer very good, quality pint! we'll be back soon.
