"With the help of one extremely nice lady, who literally walked us to the restaurant, we did find the right place to eat called “Bermeoko Kafe Antzokia”. No tourists there, excellent service and one absolutely charming young girl, who spoke perfect English and translated the menu for us. For starter, we had mixed salad with tuna and delicious lentils with sausage. For the main course, we both had turbot with greens, and for desert we decided in the traditional Basque creme it was mouthwatering... too bad I forgot the name of it. We also got a bottle of red wine, a big bottle of water and delicious bread included in the 13€ per person price. Unbelievable! Thank you for making our short stop in Bermeo so memorable!"

Lots of food but definitely quantity not quality. Everything was over cooked and very tasteless. A would have loved some salt or hot sauce! Not impressed, sorry!

We went here for lunch, on recommendation from a local literally, we asked a passer by where it was good for lunch in Bermeo! The food was really good, fresh and tasty. We had a person from the area in the group and he confirmed the authenticity of the dishes. It was very affordable and the staff super friendly. The place is great if you have kids as there is plenty of space and big tables. It's a bit odd to eat on a nightclub's dance floor, but everything else was great.
