"Another first! I'm writing the review in the place! What a shambles of a place. Management need to get their act together, this a pathetic experience of someone eating at Bella Italia for the first time. Dough balls with garlic butter is what we ordered, dough balls and garlic oil is what was served. We skipped mains because another customer complained about their meal, went for desert ordered chocolate brownies , got given caramel sauce which comes with the cookie dough, waited 5 mins for someone to come over, ended up going to them, they came back and said sorry we run out of chocolate sauce, isn't it better to tell the customer beforehand? Hope it improves, doubt it tho, manager on shift looks clueless."

Very delicious pasta and lagsane. The mushroom-like garlic bread has a strong scent of olive oil and really crispy. Yummy! And Bartek (the waiter) has made our day for its great Smiley service

Very good taste and price. Absolutely friendly waiters will wait there for you. For those who do not eat pork, you need to know that all beef is mixed with pork, so I could not try lasagna or polonaise.

due to the situation I went for the first time and had great, fast service. the pizza was great and the beer was cold. I liked it so much that I came back a few days later. they skip the dough swirls but not bad, but they don't really value.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant serving good food. I went to the door and there was a lineup. Always a good sign that food is waiting for. We were not disappointed. The staff was amazing and the food was worth waiting. I recommend this restaurant!

Great! The staff were so very friendly and very quick at getting us seated and fed. We asked for starters with food and they brought them out just as we asked the good needed a little more garlic, and the lasagna noodles were overcooked, but the bread was superb!!

Ordered king prawns for starters and spaghetti bolognese as my main meal. These came out okay but the size of the main meal felt rather small. Their cocktail was equally nice. However, their gents was abit far off and could do with some uplifts expecially with the crowd visiting. Experience was okay and might just visit again.

bella italia thanks them for giving us something of an instant glamour in the taste-free kitchen that offers Scotland. this is a chain and there are 90 of them or so in Britain. it can be one of the few restaurants that they find in Britain that actually know what is salt! it is not a wood fired margherita that my discriminatory palette is used to, so I would recommend the pasta over the pizza options

The atmosphere is nice, the place looks really good and the staff was friendly. The pizza we ordered was also delicious. We had Pinsa, that 's simply just Pizza with a bigger thicker, crispier base . We ordered the Queen Margherita for £12.99 and the Pollo Pancetta for £13.99 and even got water for free. Although it was really good, it was quite expensive. There are good alternatives only a few minutes away for half the price. We were a group of six and just shared the money, so it 's not a big deal.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
