Beefeater Tattenham Corner

For a mid Sunday afternoon it was very quiet and they had already taken roast lunches off of the menu. Alternative meals were fine but probably a sign of the times that what should be their signature dish had already gone

I had another delightful meal at the Beefeater in Tattenham Corner. We ordered mains that included haddock and chips, salmon and chips, sirloin steak and chips, and a mixed grill. For drinks, we enjoyed a chilled bottle of wild berry Rekorderlig cider and three unlimited diet cokes. We also shared two chocolate churros sundaes for dessert. The service was excellent.

Absolute amazing food, great environment, extremely thoughtful staff providing the service. I had a meal with friends and some of which have dietary requirements, which was supported and checked to make sure there were no issues. The steaks were correctly cooked to our requests and grateful to the staff who took their time with us. Looking forward to coming back again soon Voir le carte

Food enjoyable. Friendly staff but table needed to be cleaned. Very empty when we were there for lunch. Other local establishments were busy when we walked past them. One meal was good but disappointed that it was given just 2 onion rings. The other meal was very good but was it a Rump steak or what we ordered a T steak! They were missing English mustard too. We did not make a fuss because we enjoyed the food anyway.

My friend and I had lunch here on a Saturday, and we had a fantastic experience. We both ordered steaks with different sides, and everything we tried was flawless—there was nothing we could complain about. The cocktails and desserts were delightful as well. All the staff were friendly, and our waitress, Betty, took excellent care of us; she was knowledgeable about the menu, served everything perfectly, and engaged in great conversation. We’re definitely planning to come back, and next time we’ll be sure to try the burgers!

Usually great relaxed place to have dinner or lunch. Very open dining area and great service, food and atmosphere. Clean too following all Covid 19 rules. Staff are very friendly and attentive esp Josie and Gwen. Just had a few issues recently with table bookings and the deputy manager being non Co operative although friendly. All was sorted thou well with head office. Be warned thou they have a tenancy to just decide to shut early without warning if quiet. However, I must express disappointment with the chefs' performance. Two of the meals we received were practically cold, and we had to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes for fresh, hot replacements. This was quite frustrating, especially since the other two members of our group had nearly finished their meals by the time we received ours. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning, as we weren’t even offered a discount for the initial cold meals or for the long wait for the new dishes. Overall, the service from Gaynor was commendable, but the kitchen let down the experience significantly. Very disappointing!

Very poor service, very slow and really took there time serving a customer. The place with a very Confused Service Team. Ordered food was served on the table after a very long wait and still the rest of the food which we ordered was incomplete and wrong. The steak i requested was medium well and it was poorly cooked to a well done the steak was very dry hard and chewy. Which spoiled our appetite.The food service was just very long and an incomplete meal being delivered on the table which took an additional hour of waiting and disappointments. One good thing is i had a refund for the meal I have to cancel.

Visited the Beefeater at Tattenham Corner for the third time (in six years) to give it another chance, as previous visits had been awful. We booked a table, arrived on time. The attitude of our waiter was so negative upon arrival, that I wish we had turned around and gone elsewhere. We were eventually given menus. He came to take our orders 25 mins after arriving, telling us for will be at least 30-45 mins. Our drinks arrived 45 mins after we got there. We were close to leaving at that stage. Food eventually arrived. We had asked for the steaks to be medium, they arrived well done, as had been sitting on the pass for quite a while (we didn't send back for fear we would be waiting another hal... Voir le carte
