The Steak Selection was okay the Apple pie was awful it was like microwaved sludge! The saving grace for this restaurant is their wonderful staff Lottie and Darryl are both excellent and offered superb customer service

Lovely restaurant attached to the Premier Inn (also very nice but stayed in an upgraded room). Adele and Joe were great and looked after us really well. Very attentive staff, very clean and a lovely feel to the whole place. Would definitely recommend

The food was very good. It was our children's first time at a Beefeater restaurant, and they all cleaned their plates and left feeling satisfied. My only criticism is that I would have preferred to know what items were unavailable before being seated. Voir le carte

Very welcoming server, Kieran K did a great job. He's to be commended on being positive at the end of Sunday service. Cherry bakewell mock tail, lovely taste but mostly ice. Prawn and vegetable kebab: tough chewy overcooked prawns, withered oily overcooked vegetables, all tepid apart from the salad which had been on the pass and the bowl it was served in was too hot to touch! Gammon, two fried eggs, oily, floppy, overcooked. Nice chips. Salad hot.

No table available in restaurant area as I hadn’t booked which is fair enough although wasn’t that busy. Ordered starter and main at the bar and service was ok. My starter of potato dippers was served very quick. My main which was a 74 Baconeater which is quite possible the worst burger I have ever tasted. If you like brown warm lettuce loaded with what I assume is left over bacon from breakfast at the Premier Inn please feel free to sample. The burger was not the best and I assume the time it sat under the grill is the reason it had a crispy crust with a gritty centre. The cold onion soup compote loaded on top with it did not help ! Not impressed for £23. Very poor will not be returning.

Went here to celebrate my daughters boyfriends birthday on a Saturday evening. Got seated quite quickly, and it went downhill from there. We were quite close to walking out and going over the road to the Hungry Horse as they seemed to have forgotten about us, even though we were right under the noses of the waitresses. And it was not busy, I have been here before when it has been busy. Eventually someone came to take our order, and said that she would need to check if a prawn cocktail was still available. As she never came back, I guessed it was. Then our drinks arrived, with one extra, somehow my prawn cocktail had turned into a pornstar martini!!!! Probably nice, but I prefer prawn cocktai...
