"The trick of this place is that I came back a second time and, if at the first occasion she would have deserved 3 stars, now I take one. The restaurant is small, on the sea, very nice.. .They mainly make hot fish dishes and are all really very inviting. We had the need to eat little (at lunch so we opted for cold dishes. The service is not satisfactory at all... slow, they wander between the tables without paying attention to the demands and, above all, they made me wait for 40 minutes to bring me a dish of bresaola (4 slices on the cross...good eh, but 4 tufts that ticked my stomach, at the price of 9€...that at the time of paying has become 12€, then return magically to the right price (it will be a distraction eh...."

We visited this place based off of pictures and reviews on Trip Adviser. It is a little beach bar style place, right on the sand. You look out right to the water. We visited for lunch in late September, so it wasn't super busy, and they gave us special attention. The waitress (maybe manager? took the time to translate the specials for us and offered to show us the fresh fish they'd got in that morning, bringing it out on a platter! We opted for a grilled whole fish, fried seafood salad, and a simple spaghetti with fresh tomatoes for our daughter. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. We definitely loved our experience here!

"We visited Zenzero several times whilst on a family holiday in Puglia. Our hotel was beautiful but the dinner menu was a little too fancy and not really to our taste. We asked a member of staff where he would eat locally and he immediately recommended Zenzero we are so glad that he did. Zenzero is a small, friendly, family run restaurant with a great atmosphere and fantastic food, enjoyed by mainly local people. The menu is only in Italian but that was no problem because one of the restaurant assistants, the lovely Sylvia, also speaks fluent English, French and some German. All orders are taken by the owner Dino who, along with Sylvia, was so friendly and could not have made the three of us feel more welcome. A wonderful daily selection of fresh fish is displayed each evening in a glass topped cold store, just inside of the entrance. We thought the Sea Bass baked in sea salt was amazing, only to be surpassed by grilled Turbot on a later visit. Our young daughter loves Pizza and was taken to meet the dedicated Pizza Chef who showed her how her order was made, prior to placing it into the traditional Pizza oven. Do try the house special starter selections which were all so delicious, as indeed were the deserts, especially Sylvia’s Panna Cotta. . The wine list is small but good and, like the food, very reasonably priced. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this excellent, traditional Italian restaurant, it certainly helped make our Italian holiday more special."
