we have often eaten in this restaurant (between april and oktober 2014) during a business trip to düsseldorf. the service was always great and the meals - delicious and freshly prepared!

this seems to be a family business, and the service is friendly and efficient. the menu is full of good things, it was hard to decide what to have. all served dishes were impressive, tasty and very satisfactory. it was so good that we returned twice in three days. we had a great meal here. the menu offers a sufficient selection of predominantly typical German dishes. we have all decided for a carving (wiener, jäger, zigeuner) and it has tasted well. the restaurant was full, all tables occupied. so it took a while until the food was ready and during that time the waiters run diligently with pills with beer etc. not bad!

I was there for lunch with my brother. lammhaxe and putenmedaillons were reserved for our fullest satisfaction. absolutely recommended. no complaints. as expected! the local was whether the celebration (healthy) was not filled to the midday. service was personally taken over by the owners very pleasantly. as soon as I'm close to and have pleasure in German cuisine, I'll be back!

meal times at two different days to see the future world champion in action. I had swedishshaxe with bratkartoffels nicely solved, even hering in a cream sauce absolutely perfect. the service was first-class, as only I did everything. my daughter stays in derendorf, maybe we had first class service because of this, but I think they were simply professional in their service. at last a normal restaurant. good bourgeois cuisine and also a handful of international menus. be a rumpsteak with bratkartoffeln, or a fillet tip pot, also fish or haxen there. here each one finds a suitable eating. ads baumann’s brauhof does not need to be made, because already with the masters is well occupied locally.Also the selection of freshly tapped beer is very good; from hops to weizen everything there!Who wants to eat again a good portion to good price is well advised and friendly service. the restaurant is located on the street nr. 701 parking lot and is easy to reach. good appetit!

this family-run beer house (I believe herr baumann) is located in the münsterstraße, just a short walk from the metro station heinrichstraße. it is not located in a touristic part of the city, but rather serves the local, but we have used it due to its proximity to one of the hotels we used. when entering there is a mainbar area and then a larger it area on the left side. the menu is quite traditional with some seasonal specialties. last week I decided to take the pulled pork in pfefferkornsauce that did not disappoint me. normally make good service levels and reasonable prices of this restaurant a solid choice for an evening meal.

Please note that the ratings given are based on our last visit. After we had used this restaurant on previous travels, we made an early departure on Friday to make a reservation for Saturday at 20 o'clock. we asked a worker whether this was possible (her English was much better than our very bad German!) there was a short discussion between her and a male colleague and we were told very abruptly that this was not possible because they were closed at 18 o'clock. we have accepted this, and we have made other suggestions.
