love bartons yard warm, good food, good coffee and young man in front of the house is very friendly and happy to help. I wish it was more open!

I love Bartons Yard! The atmosphere is warm, the food is delicious, and the coffee is great. The young man at the front of house is very friendly and always happy to help. I just wish it were open more often!

Often go to the bartons yard to have business lunches and find the service and the food really good for entertaining clients. One of the best spots in carlisle to do this at based on my experience. Tip: get the #eggsbenedict it's a must.

What a lovely dog-friendly café! The server kindly brought out a bowl of water for my dog, which I greatly appreciated. The festive turkey sandwich was delicious, as were the poached eggs and avocado. I didn’t take pictures of the food, but the empty plates certainly speak for themselves!
