Found on Trip Adv while passing through those parts (Ovada) we stop for lunch and despite the menu at fixed price we were satisfied with what we offered: simple but of day and especially prepared well. As well as curated is the management of the trattoria. We'll be back. Voir le carte

We're in Ovada and we're looking for a place to eat. We follow the suggestion of a person met on the spot and it turns out to be a pleasant opportunity to meet with local dishes. Simple local, controls and management in compliance with pandemic provisions, friendly and fast service, right portions, very affordable prices. Very good : Suggested!

This is not only a review but a thanks to those who, like Mrs. Gianna and collaborators, provide customers with good food with efficiency and kindness. This time we tasted pens to the whore with delicious taggiasche olives, stoccafisso accommodated with tasty potatoes, not stopposo and salty at the right point, mixed salad with tomatoes, chocolate cake with exquisite pears and in a plentiful portion, water and coffee. Everything cooked as a rule of art with genuine ingredients and in the right proportions. Everything for 32 euros in two!! Today we returned to Trattoria San Domenico to try the menu of a day of celebration. We tasted: trophies with pesto with potatoes, half sleeves with squid sea ragù, cuttlefish with peas. Millefoglie with zabaione cream and cream. The pesto was simply divine with very fragrant Ligurian basil, the tasty and not salty sea ragù as often happens in many restaurants. The trophies and pasta cooked at the right point. the second was sepia with peas and not peas with very few sepias. The dessert was very fresh and generous. What do you mean? By now, when we pass near Ovada, the stop is obliged. Always satisfied also in the portfolio. A recommendation: book. In just over an hour we saw at least a doze... Voir le carte
