"We visited on a Monday evening just as they were opening up at 8pm. Sat outside as it was a warm evening. Surprised at how curt the waiter was, a marked difference from the other places we visited in Toledo. I had deer stew chunks of meat in a sauce. Fortunately we 'd been brought a basket of bread, as the stew came by itself. Around a third of the meat was just fat. My wife had the steak which was enormous but she had to sort through large amounts of fat to get to the meat. Again around a third of it was fat. This place is in the guidebooks as a 'must visit ' but we were very disappointed. Maybe it 's better for a drink and tapas inside, later in the evening?"

Carcamusas brutales y con picante perfecto! Tanto el chico de barra como la muchacha que organizaba las mesas, encantadores. En un día de calorazo, cuando es más complicado tener buen día. Así da gusto!

Do not miss this little local favorite for delicious authentic food. Very good service although you might have to wait due to the size of the restaurant. Their specialty is the carcamusas, do not miss it.

El mejor sitio para comer Carcamusas! También tuvimos el estofado de ciervo y picadillo de morcilla que eran espectacular. La comida de 5 estrellas y el servicio y trato formidable. Volveremos This restaurant was amazing! The best Carcamusas in town. We also had the deer stew and the morcilla was top notch. We ate like kings! And the servers CS was amazing, very friendly staff. Worth going back for sure!

Hemos venido nada más llegar y nos gustó tanto que hemos repetido!! Las carcamusas y el ciervo impresionantes, pero especial mención a las croquetas que son espectaculares! El atendimiento de 10, estamos encantados! Gracias Mari y equipo, son unos cracks! This restaurant was the first one that we came when we arrived in Toledo! We loved it so much that we came back two days later! The carcamusas and the deer meat were incredible! I must mention the croquetas, the best that I’ve had! The staff were lovely and efficient! Thanks Mari and team, you are amazing!
