"The best meal in this restaurant is “spanish cheese with potatoes”, as it’s as far away from cook as possible. Other meals were hardly acceptable, seafood paella’a main ingredient was salt, and although the presentation was nice, taste of it was quite far from perfect. The service is disastrous: waiters are unable to memorise simple orders, tend to bring food without any cutlery, and when asked to do so, brought forks and spoons, without knives. When asked again, it took them 20 mins to complete the mission. 3 times ordered beer, 3 different waiters, none of the was able to deliver the order (how complicated could it be to bring one beer? . When clients leave, there are plates on the tables left for at least half an hour, maybe it’s a good idea to hire one, two men just to clean up the tables? Overall rating of this place is way too high. I believe there should be some crucial changes made before casalaplaya deserves any grade above 3 stars."

"Really wish I'd taken some pics of the food, but as soon as the plates landed on the tables we all dug in like a herd of ravenous hogs. So you just got a pic of one of our children looking for Spongebob and Patrick in the rock pool by the restaurant. We didnt book we just came, we saw , we ate the the fish outta that gaff. Firstly OMG best Spanish omelette EVER! And fish caught that morning just offshore. Octopus Calamari Musles baby Squid . Canarian potatoes garlic prawns , basically we had the menu. And 4 bottles of wine. Massive wonderful meal and drinks for 8, just over €200 . Bargin. The owners staff and chefs tore about like sonic the hedge hog always smiling . Please try this place it's the diamond of lanzorte. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Das Restaurant ist eine Touristenfalle in Meerlage, vor dem ich nur warnen kann. Es ist nicht seriös. Wir haben 2x lokalen Fisch bestellt, da im leeren Restaurant angeblich alles ausverkauft war. Es gab nur noch dieses eine Gericht auf der Karte, zu dem als einzigem Gericht kein Preis auf der Karte angegeben war. Ohne Preisangabe sollte man misstrauisch werden. Keine Preisangabe in der Speisekarte ist in Spanien per Gesetz verboten. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit ich gab es für zwei Personen genau einen ! Teller mit einem Fisch, einem sehr kleinen Salat und zirka geschätzt 80 Gramm Kartoffeln. Alles schwamm in Fett. Der Fisch war äußerst Gräten lastig, es haben sich dort nur circa 150 Gramm Fisch Fleisch finden lassen. Berechnet wurde für diesen einen Teller die unglaubliche Summe von 38€, da zwei Portionen bestellt wurden. Für mich war dies die erste Restauranterfahrung, die nicht nur ärgerlich war, sondern für meine Begriffe sogar an Betrug grenzt."

"We enjoyed excellent tapas at this great little restaurant right by the sea. We had a lovely House Salad, Deep Fried Baby Squid and Canarian Wrinkled Potatoes. All were delicious, especially the squid which was a really decent portion size. The view outside is lovely...as you can see the see and boats. Service was perfect, friendly efficient and most welcoming. The prices are very reasonable indeed, especially when compared to larger resorts like Playa Blanca. Great meal. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED."

"Un absoluto 10. Primero que nada, sólo consigue el servicio. Fuimos con nuestro bebé dormido e incluso nos ofrecimos para quitar la música. Tanto la chica que explica la carta como el niño que cuida al fumador han sido extremadamente amables y simpáticos, nos han recomendado de manera honesta y sincera. la comida, fabulosa. Es mi primera experiencia en un fumador de un oso y sólo puedo hablar cosas buenas. Vale la pena dar un salto. Pedimos una variedad de carnes y fuimos tan amables de venir y darnos una pequeña degustación de los cortes que no habíamos pedido. hay mucha notación del buen ambiente entre los trabajadores. el lugar muy agradable y muy limpio nuestra próxima visita a tirar tendrá como parada obligatoria este sitio! muchas gracias de gran Canaria"
