Very tasty food, good variety of dishes and generous portions. Reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning in the future ourselves.

Good food , friendly service with good parking outside the premises. The BYO is a big plus for me as it significantly reduces the overall cost of the meal. I can't really think of any negative points from my visit.

We visited here again after out 1st visit which was fantastic meal staff very attentive so we decided to drive 35 miles from home to come back again and the meal again was very good staff very helpful and attentive would highly recommend ba k again soon Voir le carte

Been using Daawat for two years, both takeaway and in house. Last night was a complete waste of time, service was none existent, staff did not not what was going on.25 minutes to get the menu. Even longer for food. Staff kept blaming the deliveries: not my concern as I was eating in house. Customers waiting for takeaway were offered free drinks, no such joy for diners. Hopefully last night was a blip, but won’t be using again for a long while. Fortunately the food was excellent.

The owner should take heed of this review as the food was absolutely awful. The only positive was the delivery driver who was very polite. Unfortunately, the food was subpar - it arrived cold, the keema naan was burnt and empty, and our curries were swimming in oil. The buna and jalfrezi were more like a korma, and overall, the meal was disgustingly disappointing. I only resorted to ordering from this restaurant because my usual go-to for a good curry was closed. I would advise staying away if you want to avoid a letdown.

We have now visited Daawat a number of times and each time the food is simply excellent. There is no shortage of Indian restaurants in Leicester and, without doubt, there are others that offer a great dining experience but, in my humble opinion, none is better than Daawat. In addition to food that actually tastes like it 's been made 'from scratch ' by a chef that cares, the restaurant is spotless, the welcome is wonderful and the fact you can take your own booze is a real bonus. If you love Indian food, you really should give Daawat a try. Voir le carte
