"We went there on a recommendation – big mistake, always make your own research first and never trust a friend of a friend. It was a badly run, shady Greek restaurant that the owner tried to walk alone. He was a nice...cap, very pleasant, but there was no one who served drinks or waited for tables (or delete them), so that as a result, service was slow ... painfully slow and we had to leave the table to find him. We also had to fight with a few families sitting next to and next to our party of six. The children were infants and a baby who was riot and very loud and disturbing. The owner was clearly sympathetic to our misfortune, but did not take any action, which was so different as to scrub his shoulders. Why not a family area? The restaurant is located on a side street in the middle of the city not far from the red light area. The decor was very dated and the place did not feel warm or welcoming, there was no music just loud screaming children and thunder from their feet around on the wooden floor. The food was “okay” best, but nothing inspiring and the portions were not exactly grandiose. We asked for some apple grains at the end of the meal to say that this was a Greek restaurant and they don't sell such things. We were in our place! We paid about €26.00 each on a common bill containing a few beers, but we all had only one main course. In Fairness we got 2 free ouzos each. I'm sorry, but we can't recommend this place and it's obviously exhausting – so much that the owner even removed customers from a half empty restaurant on a Saturday night while we were there because he had no staff. There are MANY more excellent Greek restaurants in Hanover – most of them from the city in the suburbs, but I would recommend that you try it instead."

The food was delicious and not expensive. The temperature in the restaurant was not very warm. The service was good and the people, where very friendly and helpful.

Back to this restaurant during a fair to the same meal I had exactly 3 years ago. The remedy I had is Bacchus plate in menu no. 89, made of meat spit, 1 piece of lamb, meat dump, gyros with rice and a fresh salad of the season.
