"I visited Authentico with friends and had a wonderful experience; the food and service were exceptional. Sadly, when I took my husband there for the first time, we encountered some issues. The food was just as delicious as I remembered, but the restaurant was clearly struggling with staffing, and we faced long wait times both for our table and for our meal. While this could have dampened our spirits, the authentic Italian food and wine remained the highlights of our visit, which is why we choose this place over a chain restaurant. It would have been helpful to receive a heads-up about the potential delays in service."

Excellent food as always but service far too slow. Table booked for 8pm but main meal didn’t arrive until 9.30pm! Customers in the restaurant deserve better attention please!

small menu, long wait to get food. young children do not want to wait 2 hours in the restaurant. Eating was okay, but not very valuable. I understand that the cost has to rise and the business continues. underwhelmed with all the experience.

My wife and popped in on a rainy night and had a warm, friendly welcome. Food was very, very good. Quite a narrow menu, but they made some things that weren't on the menu for us. I'd recommend visiting the food is much, much better than the Italian chains out there.

Upon our arrival, we were informed that there would be a wait for our food, as all the tables had been booked simultaneously, which was confusing for us. Some items on the limited menu were unavailable, and we ended up waiting an hour for our starters and an hour and a half for our main courses. The service from the staff we encountered was quite disappointing. We weren't alone in our frustration; the couple at the table next to us shared the same experience of long wait times. We prefer to support local businesses over chains, but in this instance, we will not be returning.
