"Restaurant is located in Allaman ! Large space for big groups ! Several rooms ! Restaurant is famous for meat and salmon ! Diner with friends ! We had an appetizer proposed by the restaurant than we all have empanadas with meat and chorizo! Then meat with homemade fries and some desserts ! Food is excellent ! Service friendly ! They also proposed take-away for specific plates."

"Beautiful location, wonderful setting on the terrace with stunning views of the lake. Small aperitif with champagne and strawberry-passion fruit champagne cocktail. The latter was very well prepared with the subtle side of strawberry and passion fruit without being too sweet, a great success. Their salad with their legendary and incomparable sauce is always just as magical, we can 't get enough of it. Second starters with fresh goat 's cheese quenelle and tastings of perch fillets, absolutely nothing to complain about, simply delicious, well done and thank you. A little disappointment when we received the entrecôte (stale on the bone for 21 days) and the beef fillet, which clearly lacked cooking. Both were blue even though we had asked for rare, it 's ok, it can happen but when we asked the waiter to cook them a little more we would have appreciated the simple humility in admitting the mistake rather than try to justify it by citing the size of the pieces of meat which in no way excuses the cooking which is supposed to be mastered by a professional. The second cooking was more satisfying and it must also be said that the pieces of meat were of high quality. 2nd little problem: the fries. Having come to Le Vieux Navire several times in the past, I was also delighted with the matchstick fries which were by far THE best I had tasted, I was disappointed with the fries which seemed industrial or even frozen. When talking to the waiter, first response: they are matchstick fries. We told him no, obviously not and he ended up admitting that they had finished the matchstick fries and had to replace them with others. We would have liked to be notified when ordering and not at the end of the meal. Back home, looking at the photos from the last 2 years on Google it seems that they haven 't been making matchstick fries for a long time. They may have been artisanal but hard to believe and also slightly lacked cooking (personal taste). Once again we would have preferred honesty and transparency from the start. For dessert, unfortunately we were not able to have it on site, due to lack of time, so we had to take it away. The chocolate truffle was really good. The chocolate cake... WOAW! It exceeded all our expectations. We think you should enter it in a competition, because it is by far the best chocolate cake we have ever eaten. On all levels, incredible taste and absolutely perfect textures. Everything you expect from a chocolate cake worthy of the name. We had a very nice evening despite these 2 little hiccups and thank you for that. We look forward to coming and trying the experience again, even if only for the famous salad and the incredible softness. THANKS !"

"In my previous reviews of this place, I had nothing positive to say. None of the tenants managed to make a satisfied and regular customer out of me. Needless to say that when I was invited for lunch there the other day, I accepted without enthusiasm. But boy, was I in for a surprise. Not only was the dining room packed, everything was perfect. From the warm welcome to the prompt and attentive service to the tasteful meal… right up to the coffee the house offered. So, all is forgotten and forgiven. Keep up the good work and I’ll repay you with many more visits, as well as publicity among friends and business contacts – which starts with this positive Tripadvisor review!."

"We stayed for a short time unfortunately, only 3 days, which were wonderful! The apartments in the photos look small but in reality they are really very comfortable and spacious! Kitchenette with two induction burners, which allow you to have some peace of mind especially in the presence of children. Present the microwave oven, the coffee machine in capsules, crockery, in short, a bit of everything and all new. Super-equipped bathroom with a fairly large shower and hairdryer, as well as soaps and everything you need. Two latest generation smart TVs, with free wifi. Our apartment was a mezzanine with 4 very large and comfortable beds, there is no air conditioner but it is not important as there is a Dyson that cools the air quite satisfactorily. Breakfast is left near the room door at the time you choose and write it down in the book at reception. It is very abundant, there is everything, both sweet and savoury, bread, croissants, Nutella, jams, butter, cheeses, cold cuts, orange juice, etc. .. you can make coffee in your room quietly and milk is brought to you in very practical single doses in the breakfast tray. We also ate at their Italian restaurant, everything was great and the service was fast and friendly! Average prices for the area, guaranteed quality. In short, what to say ....
