we enjoyed our stay very much. great room, wonderful meal and a fire in which to sit in front of yourself during the drinking whisky. and a great lunch package for us while we continued on the great glen way. Voir le carte

See my separate review of the hotel. Dinner is extremely reasonably price for the quality of the food and its preparation. The scallops, cod and venison were among the best we've eaten in Scotland, or elsewhere. The breakfast menu was extensive, including full range of Scottish breakfast.

Despite this being a popular location they still seemed to be accepting a few people who turned up on the evening which was a testament to how efficiently they seemed to be coping with the covid restrictions. what a nice hotel. we thought there was only coffee and cake while we were buried on the hole, but we were pleasantly surprised by the service and our food. the building and the grounds are beautiful, full of character and magnificent view over the hole. the staff was very friendly and helpful. only a minute walk through the forest area are the ruins of the old castle. many parking spaces in the hotel when they drive.

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Umschwung rund um das Anwesen ist bezaubernd und das Ambiente im Hotel/Restaurant sehr britisch. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch. Es gibt nicht auszusetzen! Auch der Preis von 45 Pfund für 3 Gänge ist mehr als fair! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The grounds around the property are charming and the ambience in the hotel/restaurant is very British. The food was simply fantastic. There is nothing to complain about!
