"Our b&b owner could not say enough good things about this place and I can totally see why. We were able to walk in with a quick phone call ahead to make sure they had seating for dinner. They had the availability and the staff was so nice and welcoming. For a starter, we tried Saksuka with Turkish bread. The veggies were quite tasty and the bread was crispy and warm. My main I got the Somon which was a nice filet of salmon with a little pesto over the top with a side of shredded carrots, cabbage, lettuce and rice. My husband got the special chicken which was a stuffed chicken breast of veggies topped with cheese. I tried a bite without cheese and wow was that a nicely done piece of chicken. Service was fast and if we lived in the area, we would absolutely be here on a regular basis."

Excellent food, friendly staff, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We nearly overlooked this place, but I'm so glad we decided to stop in!

The best food that we've had so far on our trip. Everything was extremely fresh and authentic! The decorations inside were beautiful!! We enjoyed the lamp kabobs and the hummus the most. Would highly recommend!

The mixed grill and creamy mushroom chicken were both delicious, and the rice had a wonderful aroma—I wonder if it was cooked in chicken fat. However, the main portions were a bit small and not quite enough to satisfy my appetite! Voir le carte

I visited this restaurant for the first time after it was recommended by friends. The food was beautiful and beautifully presented, and the service was polite and friendly. The sharing platter was just right for our group of six. I will definitely return again!

The Turkish food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The décor of the restaurant is beautiful. The owner pays close attention to every customer, ensuring a pleasant experience. The special that included appetizers and a main course was incredibly filling and offered a fantastic variety of Turkish dishes.

Wonderful food and friendly staff! I was traveling solo and walked in without a reservation. They graciously accommodated me event though they were quite busy. I ordered the mixed grill (lamb and chicken) which comes with a delicious salad. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Super friendly staff and excellent food; great combination! After spending several days in Scotland eating mostly deep-fried, boiled, and steamed dishes, we finally enjoyed a meal that was truly well-prepared. The lamb was delicious, and the chili sauce was exceptional. The sea bass was grilled to perfection, and the kofta was equally fantastic. The portions were generous, easily enough for one person. The staff was very friendly, and we had a wonderful conversation with the manager.

The set menu allowed each person to choose a main course, and then a generous spread of appetizers and bread was brought to our table—there were at least seven different dishes! Everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful; we could have easily made a meal just from the starters. Two members of our group chose the salmon, one went for the chicken guvec, and I ordered the minced lamb kofte. I won't go into detail about each dish, but I can assure you that not a single plate was left with food on it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
