Always a fantastic time at this restaurant. The kids menu is fantastic and everything from the service to the food is fantastic. Accommodated us at short notice on a Friday night and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

Going down hill. Used to be a lovely place with fantastic service. The last few times we've been in the table is left half cleared for around 10 minutes between courses and the servers walk straight past. Won't be back in a hurry.

I hadn’t been here for a few years because I moved away after uni, but it was a pleasant surprise to come back. The staff is clearly well-trained, they are very polite and attentive. The food is flavourful and I think it’s a step up from last time! Well done, thank you for a good dinner!! Voir le carte

We were a group of 6 celebrating a friend's birthday. Food was tasty and Alla did amazing job looking after us. She ensured that Birthday girl got a magical service and enjoyed her evening. Free birthday dessert was a cherry on top. Thank you to Alla for looking after us so well. We had a great time.

Yesterday we were with friends, it was busy, a girl was running alone throughout the restaurant, one of the guests shouted at her in the whole restaurant, how she steadfastly withstood this situation, solved this problem without rudeness, honestly, if I were that waitress, I would have shouted in response to the client. The girl was great, she solved all the issues, tried to do 5 things at one time. Interesting fact that the 2nd waitress just walked around the restaurant and did nothing. I want to say thank you to this girl.

Booked here for dinner with my partner and we will not be back. Absolutely terrible service I had asked for lasagne and was met with “no” to which I was took back quite a bit and said “sorry?” “No, no lasagne” wish we had just left there and then. Opted to have another pasta dish which wasn’t very nice, my partner enjoyed his pizza though so wish I had just chose that too. It wasn’t too busy when we were in so no excuse for the service. When leaving and asking to pay I was met with a card machine with the cheek of giving herself a £6 tip.. not a chance Voir le carte

Pre ordered our family meal so expected things to move quickly, especially after,being told we only had the table for 1-1/2 hours. Ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to come. Starters arrived 15 mins later, they were the highlight of the night! Main courses were 90% of a disaster, my Apollo Milanese was a cheap, beaded chicken fillet which arrived with cold, hard broccoli and chips (they were good), 2 calzone pizzas were well burnt on top and a veg pasta was stone cold and had to be re-cooked. I realise that a good discount was given but it was still a very disappointing visit.

Always go to Ask Italian for meeting up with family, never had any issues until tonight . Disappointed tonight with the time it took for meals to come out, waiting staff were fantastic but extremely slow service from kitchen. Did ask our waitress if there was staff off, was told there had been a change of kitchen staff the last couple of weeks, that people were going back to college. No offence but didn’t think the kitchen staff were students so I’m not sure if there was a cull or staff left for some reason. Such a pity, it’s always our go to in union square for food. First time visiting, thought the decor was nice and the staff were welcoming. Table was a bit sticky when we sat down but hey don't sweat the small stuff. Ordered 2 x kids dishes (3 courses for £7.50, seemed very good value) and a normal pasta dish (beef Ragu) and a pizza. The main meals took an age to arrive and when they did one of kds meals was missing, was told by the waitress it was on its way, no explanation provided and no apology when it did arrive 10 minutes later. Kids pizza was really quite small and left 6 year old still hungry. Adult pizza was decent at best however the pasta dish was tiny, honestly looked stater size.
