"Firstly, upon meeting Stacey at the reception, we were pleased to see that she was ready to assist us without us even having to ask. We were warmly welcomed, which was a nice touch. When we requested a room with a view, Stacey quickly accommodated our request and provided us with a beautiful room. The breakfast was good and the staff attending to the rooms were very professional. The young lady working at the bar was also very professional and helpful. We were impressed by the Golden Anniversary celebrations at the Heritage Hotel. The hotel has pool tables, a swimming pool, and TVs in the rooms to watch football. Although I am not a football fan, it's great for those who are. I am looking forward to seeing how they maintain this standard on our second day. Kudos to Graham and Valerie for a job well done."

Only had drinks here, however, friendly staff and fantastic views from this pub's vantage point and as a non smoker, their outside area is large enough to accommodate non smokers.

As a registered Coeliac the menu caters for a gluten free diet AND the staff all appeared to be well trained in allergens. We ate there 4 times in our 9 night stay and I had NO issues whatsoever so very VERY well done to all there !!!

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have sampled a variety of dishes and everything was top-notch. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would give them a perfect ten out of ten stars if I could.

We had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant, sitting outside and soaking in the beautiful view. The latte was superb. Even though it's a bit off the beaten path, it's definitely worth the visit. Conveniently located next to a parking lot. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Friends recommended us to try a breakfast after having been so disappointed at overpriced, poor quality and poor service, venues in Torquay. They were not wrong! At last we have found the perfect breakfast venue: Great value for money! Great quality food! Excellent service! A super location looking high over the bay. A charming member of staff invited us join their 'Breakfast Club '. We are defo taking advantage of this discount too! I cannot speak more highly of Appleby 's as a breakfast venue. You won 't be disappointed ,said the barman. He wasn 't wrong!
