"Although the food was good, we waited over 30 minutes just to be asked for our drinks order and for this we had to go up to the desk to get someone’s attention. After that the service remained quite slow. It also seemed people around us had similar service issues, with food/drinks taking too long and mains being brought out before starters. A lot of the time you would have to get the staffs attention yourself by getting up or calling out to flag them down. Didn’t expect this kind of service from a restaurant part of the hotel."

Jamie our waiter was very good with service didn’t pester us or rush us out. Food was good for the price would eat there again if staying in the hotel.

We really enjoyed our meal. There was a bit of a wait, but we understand that staff may have been limited over the Christmas holiday. Overall, not a big issue for us.

There were only 3 options on the set menu and they had run out of one of each course leaving very poor choice. Fries came soaked in salt so much so it left a salt pile on the plate. Voir le carte

Great value!! Went for afternoon tea with the addition of a spa session. It is very relaxed and trusting. Was barely anyone else there when we went. The cakes and sandwiches were super fresh and delicious!

Lovely afternoon tea for 5! The restaurant was quiet so we had a whole section to ourselves which was great as we could chat away undisturbed all afternoon. Staff were attentive and brought us endless tea refills. Sandwiches were average but the cakes were delicious! Would definitely go back again.
