"Please be careful if you stop at this restaurant!!! They serve you welcome drinks as you are seated, and then charge for them. We said we didn 't order them and they insisted we take them. We were a party of 6, they brought us 4 drinks and charged us for 6! The food was good, but the service was awful. Staff (with the exception of our busser) was extremely rude. And they charged us for food that we did not order, even though I went over the bill line by line as I was rung up (they read the correct items from my order, but added extra items as they were ringing, an extra pizza at $14.90 and an extra antipasto at $15.90). They over charged us by $30+ euros, not including the welcome drinks that we never received. I have been to many wonderful places in Italy, with staff that did not speak English, and was never taken advantage of, or treated so rudely as we were here. With so many other opportunities for a great meal in Pisa, this place is worth skipping."

We went late at night not expecting much but we had very good service, the waiter was very nice. this place has very extensive menu. We ordered spaghetti ragú and the lasagna. Both good dishes.

Full disappointment: Pizza Proscuitto e Funghi with canned mushrooms and probably canned tomato sauce. Coke that was not sparkling.. stressed waiters.. not to recommend.. well at least the pizza dough tasted fine.. Volle Enttäuschung.. Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi mit Dosenpilzen und fertig Tomatensauce. Der Teig war ok.. dazu Cola die Abgestanden war und sehr hektisches Personal. Keine Empfehlung

"This is genuinely one the best restaurants I have ever been to! Just a step away from the tourist traps around the tower, and get a true taste of Tuscany. My partner and I chose to visit one evening and couldn't get a table as they were full till close. The owner was rushing around to make everyones evening perfect, but they still had time to stop and speak to us and we made a reservation for the next day. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated outside on a warm evening and had one of the most amazing meals we've ever had. We started with the smoked burrata salad to start was to die for The gnocchi siciliana, and the local fish were perfect. I don't exaggerate when I say, this was the best meal we'd had on our Italy summer trip. If you are looking for authentic home cooked Italian food, do not go any further. Make sure to book to avoid disappointment, this is one not to miss when you are in Pisa. "Unfortunately they made us wait 25 minutes for our table. They were sorry for that and they offered us 2 glasses of prosecco: we said that we drink only red wine, so they gave us two of them but at the end we discovered that we paid them! The waitress took a wrong order and she was so disappointed on that and she said that was our mistake (we ordered pasta with ragù and we received pasta with garlic sauce, so not something to easily confused). We gave the plate back to them (without touching it) and at least we didn't pay for it. It looks as a good and friendly place, but we didn't have a good experience."
