Close to Civico7, we were pleased to find this very reasonable eaterie. Stuffed squid, pasta with ragu sauce to name but two dishes. Very generous with the bread. Excellent value for money.

Sometimes you just stumble upon things in life, that fill your spirit with warmth and joy. If you’ve ever read any of my posts here, you know my passion for food prepared with purpose and love. This is one of those places. The owner Roberto greeted, waited, and served us. We were the only patrons at the time, and thus received all the attention. The menu is hand written offering whatever is available today, and the prices were insanely affordable. The antipasto was an extravaganza of meat, cheese, vegetables and artisan presentation. The pasta was homemade, and the steak was seared to perfection. Only open for dinner, it’s a must experience piece of this little villa at the tip of Italy...

We loved this restaurant — just up the street from the train station. We were on our way to Rome, taking an overnight train and wanted to catch a quick dinner before our train departed at 10 pm. We were not looking for some great restaurant but just a quick place to eat. To our great surprise, we found this great restaurant just up the street. Wow — what a great place it turned out to be. The owner was awesome! The food was generous and with great prices. To top it off, the gelato was the best we had through the whole rest of the trip in Italy. Suffice it to say, this was our first real meal in Italy but set the std for the rest of our trip. Definitely check this place out...you won’t be dis...
