"...it's October but since the temperatures still push us towards seaside days we took the opportunity to pop over to Livorno to try the L'ANDANA restaurant. Local, characteristic, in Old Marine style, well looked after and clean, with a beautiful veranda overlooking the Medici pier. Very professional staff where the maitre, in addition to the dishes, also recommended the right wine to pair with them. Typical Livorno cuisine with excellent fish dishes, where freshness and authenticity highlight the flavours. The mise en place is also good. There were two of us and we tasted: Gran crudo Andana for two, consisting of red prawns, scampi, blue prawns, prawns, blonde prawns and oysters. Two paccheri with seafood I must say that it is worth going to Livorno to try this restaurant. Prices in line with the quality of the dishes."
