Excellent, everything was delivered and very fast. Delicious food too.

Order left restaurant at 6.30pm and arrived at me @7.25pm . It was cold ! Poor service from Just eat .

Awful curry. Far too much salt. Korma is meant to taste sweet. This curry was awful… by far the worst curry I’ve ever had. Can’t believe I’ve paid nearly £30 for it to be thrown in the bin

The food here is fantastic, tried a few different curries. Those who say the delivery was cold, this happens everywhere depending on distance. If you eat in or live close by, the food is always hot and 10/10.

I’ve eaten there on and off for some years. While the staff are lovely, I’ve tried hard to find something nice. My go to is chicken tikka but I’ve tried various other dishes. The tikka is sliced chicken with a lot, and I mean a lot, of onion. Some of the curries are tolerable, but there’s a lot better out there at similar prices. Voir le carte

This was just a quick beer and curry in the Astolat after work on a Sunday evening, but my colleagues and I were most pleasantly surprised. We chose to eat here because of the proximity to the station, but apart from the small but good selection of beers, the absolute stand out for us was the food. We all kept saying how delicious it was and at takeaway prices too! I can't recommend it highly enough!

Guildford, sadly, is not well endowed with good quality Indian restaurants which place to order a takeaway from is not an easy decision. Anaj is within the Astolat pub, which itself isn’t the best pub in town but it has a hometown thing attraction. I’ve ordered several takeaways and find a great deal of variability one week fantastic, the next not so good, then looking different.. the Nan bread is sometimes really weird looking and tasting. All said, it’s very handy and no worse than the other options around! Sometimes on a Friday it can be real busy and take over an hour..

Absolutely fantastic! We came for the curry evening which is held every Tuesday. £12 for a curry, rice or naan and drink (soft drink, wine or beer). It’s amazingly good value for money and we really enjoyed the food. Particular highlights were the lamb saag, lamb vindaloo, chicken bhuna and chicken korma. The soft buttered naans were amazing too and seemed like they had come straight out of a tandoor. Just fantastic! Kapilla who served us is lovely and one of the sweetest, hardworking ladies you’ll ever meet. Thank you to Kapilla and all of the team for a lovely evening, we will be back for sure Voir le carte
