Very good classic German menu. Wine is very good and inexpensive. Can be very romantic!! I enjoyed the Cordon Bleu schnitzel....

Had a great steak here while on business in Wiesbaden. The waitress was very helpful with the German menu. She also pick the perfect wine to accompany my meal. Loved the low beamed ceiling and old tavern feel but the would be great place for a dinner date also.

Staying one night at an Hotel down the road to break our drive from England to Prague, we found this excellent place for dinner.First of all a very pleasant ambiance in the courtyard and cheerful service. Then good beer and well prepared tasty food.A very enjoyable evening and at a modest price. We hope to pass by again.

Dinner here was the first time in 18 months since we left Germany. The restaurant has maintained its quality and we were happy to see familiar faces!Wine list is good, dinner specials are reasonable and the service is excellent!Schnitzel of many types are available as well as fresh beef and some fish selections.Try the Panna Cotta for desert, it's delicious!!Thank you, Carol & Paolo for a great evening!! Friendly, fun atmosphere with incredible food. While gorgeous meat dishes were coming out, we asked the chef about an all veggie plate. "No problem!" It was beautiful, so incredibly delicious!" Presentation was over the top! Great wine and beer, musician was fabulous. This is a not to miss spot off the Main Street. Dessert was again SO delicious and gorgeous mixture of sweets and fruit. Going back again tonight with friends.

Another business meal with colleagues, after a long tiring day. We found the restaurant a bit quiet - as many can be on a Monday.Warm welcome from the host and good service shown to us throughout.Cold crisp beers arrived with an olive and bread "tapas".We ate steaks and the special Jager schnitzel - best mushroom sauce i have ever tasted.Cost around 20 euro per head. Cant always accept credit cards here so take some cash.Recommended

On our last night in Germany before our flight home to the U.S., we ate at the Alte Krone in Wiesbaden. The restaurant was a local neighborhood establishment which served traditional German food. My wife and I both ordered schwein schnitzel. The portions were large, the meals were exceptional and the cost was very, very reasonable (eg., low). The fact that there were just locals in the restaurant (five couples two of which had their dogs with them) coupled with the restaurant's "old world charm and ambiance" made our last evening a memorable one.
