"Beautiful and tranquil Sunday lunch hosted by the wonderful Laura who provides seamless service to the entire restaurant effortlessly. The food is prepared downstairs by Laura’s husband Raul. So many things caught our attention on the menu and Laura accommodated our requests to share a main (Scallops) as a starter and also split the another starter (Octopus) making 2 seafood courses ahead of the Rioja slow roasted lamb. Wines recommendations from wineries only 10 mins walk from the restaurant matched so well. Desserts The restaurant was perfect after our visit to the local wineries in The Station Quarter (home of Muga, La Rioja Alta, CVNE/Imperial, Roda, Lopez de Heredia etc) a mere 10 mins walk back to the main square of Haro. The best food we had on our travels around the region. Make sure to book ahead as I imagine this restaurant is full daily (Tues to Sun)."

I don't know exactly what it takes to get a Michelin star, but if it's just the taste of the food, this place deserves all stars in the world. I didn't reserve a table, so we were super lucky to get into it as the restaurant is very small and cozy.
