Today for the first time in a long time has been back in the Acropolis. In the meantime the restaurant has been renovated. Something dark for my taste, but really nice feel-good atmosphere. Nice, attentive service, big portions. Prices are appropriate for the size and quality, the upgrade to a peasant salad is worth it. Even at the toilets there was nothing to expose, we'll be back soon.

Leider besaßen wir die Unverschämtheit uns ungefragt an einen von mehreren freien Tischen zu setzen, da niemand sich für uns interessierte als wir das Restaurant betraten. Wenig später wurden wir deutlich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir fragen müssen, ob ein Tisch frei ist, bevor wir uns setzen. Dann verschwand der Herr wieder, ohne uns zu begrüßen oder unsere Getränkewünsche aufzunehmen. Daraufhin beschlossen wir zum sehr freundlichen Mitbewerber zu gehen und können daher das Essen nicht bewerten. Wie schön, dass es einigen Gastronomen offenbar noch sehr gut geht.

I was allowed to taste Gyros in Metaxa and was rather disappointed. The meat from the spit was not very crispy, the cheese was quite neutral, the Metaxa was good, but somewhat too much salted. The service was nice, but rather overwhelmed or somewhat inattentive. We had to wait for a waiter for a very long time, but it took too long for drinks. The ambience, on the other hand, is great, great interior, pleasant colors and a great light arrangement. I'm sure I'll try it again, despite good recommendations for me, stand today, not number one in Aurich. But I like to adjust the evaluation, should I be positively surprised. Voir le carte
