"We visited San Fransesco which was actually very near to the B&B we stayed in (but they did not offer dinner). This might have been the best dinner we had during our stay. The restaurant and location al feels really traditional (and with that also a little outdated, but that only adds to the experience). The staff was very friendly and our main waiters English skills were fine. The food is amazing. We went for the full experience having antipasta, primi and secondi courses. Everything cooked as I would imagine an Italian mom would cook it. The antipasti very tasteful, the pasta perfectly al-dente and the chicken very moist and tender. As you would also expect from such a place, the prices are very reasonable. So when you're looking for an nice traditional night out with good food, stop here. Take some time and enjoy the experience, just don't expect anything modern or fancy. It's back to delicious basics here."

We were staying at AltoMincio and came out here for dinner (2 adults and 2 children). Had an excellent, authentic Italian meal with very friendly service. Fully recommend this place.

Such a lovely place! Very cosy and friendly. The food is genuine home made, including the dessert, and the house wine is very good quality! The prices are very reasonable especially if you think how much effort and work they put into.

Greeted by very friendly family very clean and well appointed room with comfortable bed. The highlights were our breakfast and evening meal when we were presented with great explanations showing samples of the menus and good wine. We stopped here for dinner and night. our room, wide and recently renovated, had independent entrance. the structure is well distributed with many fruit trees around. dinner, although marked by the housewife and simplicity, was appreciable. a strong point is the breakfast that has nothing to envy to a star hotel. exceptional homemade fruit juice. the courtesy and availability of Mr. francesco make the difference.

The tortellini are famous and to die for, but don't pass up on the bigoli or the pasta with truffles either. The local cheeses and home-made salamis are also excellent, as are the home-made vegetables and vegetable preserves. And all three house wines (white, red and rose` are all equally good. But the cherry on the cake is the absolutely charming service: genuine, homely, not insistent, not slimey but always there when needed. I strongly recommend at least a lunch here. And for the price!! 40 euro for two, all in.... fabulous

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We visited twice when staying nearby Everything was always fantastic. The menu is small, but all from its farm and incredibly flavorsome. The one starter is lovely, with brilliant condiments that really impressed, especially the mustard chutney. The beef, chicken, ribs, pasta dishes were all delightful. One evening they had rabbit to substitute the ribs and this was incredible. Deserts also homemade from local products were also fabulous. I cannot compliment this place enough, even the value is incredible. To give an idea, a 3 course meal for 5 including wine and Grappa's for some was below €120. I wish this was next door to home. great place to eat for order and lindura of the room for trueconditions and festive of the owner, for the generosity and quality of the nurseries and the pleasure of their autochthonous vinello. our dessinare is composed of an appetizer with excellent meat, cheese, gardener, sauces of tasty peppers, eulcorate kiwis and polentina first magistrali, pumpkin tortelli with melted butter and tortelli with ricotta and black truffle. a second rabbit wet with herbs and polentina, very, very good. like dessert, nice yogurt with peach jam, delicious. the drinker's part has earned a delicious rose from the house, a bottle of drinking water, coffee, and a liquorice worthy of an epilogue. total and more t...

When your kids order a Fanta and the waiter says, “we don’t serve because we don’t make it on the farm”, you know you’re onto something special. The restaurant was frequented with locals, another good sign, and the menu was limited but full of authenticity. Nonna was out back cooking and her family front of house. One option for starter, a mixed plate of meats, spec (pork fat), polenta, mixed pickled veggies and homemade chutneys. Vino was around 4 euro a litre and very nice, the kids’ peach juice (from the farm of course) was one of the best things we’d ever tasted. "Sono andato a cena in questo ristorante con la mia ragazza (che è celiaca , viste le ottime recensioni e la possibilità di avere le pizze con la base senza glutine. Nonostante la mia pizza in stile napoletano (sottile al centro e cornicione alto fosse molto buona, per quanto riguarda la mia ragazza l 'esperienza non è stata altrettanto piacevole. Purtroppo devo dare 3 stelle, per i seguenti motivi: piccolo antipasto di benvenuto (offerto dalla casa , due fettine di pane con su dell 'insalata russa, ma essendo appunto la mia ragazza celiaca non lo ha potuto mangiare per via del pane, e ci saremmo aspettati portassero qualcosa di simile (dato che l 'insalata russa non dovrebbe contenere glutine invece le hanno portato in una ciotola due fettine di zucchina grigliate e mezzo pomodorino (non ne trovo il senso . la ciotola in cui hanno portato le zucchine e il mezzo pomodorino, sbeccata in 5/6 punti diversi, e quando abbiamo informato la ragazza che ci ha servito, l 'ha tolta senza dire nulla. Solitamente si fa la figura di dire ci dispiace o qualcosa di simile, e magari si fa un piccolo sconto al cliente per l 'imprevisto, togliendo magari i 2,50 € del coperto (lo sconto non è obbligatorio , le scuse invece sì . maggior tasto dolente, la pizza senza glutine. Impasto che sembrava una piadina, estremamente basso, zero consistenza e morbidezza. Come ci ha informato la ragazza le pizze senza glutine vengono cotte nel forno con le altre pizze normali, ma sua una teglia dedicata solo a quelle per celiaci, e perciò non riescono a fornire un servizio privo di contaminazioni (comunque la mia ragazza l 'ha mangiata e non ha avuto problemi . infine, sempre riguardo la pizza senza glutine, costo folle di 5,50 € per la base senza glutine! Mai visto da nessuna parte un prezzo così elevato (mai pagato più di 3 euro . Ci saremmo aspettati, per un prezzo simile, una pizza senza glutine magnifica, invece come detto sopra, una piadina forse era meglio... Detto questo, locale che consiglio a chi vuole mangiare una buona pizza normale , assolutamente sconsigliato per celiaci."
