Sherlock's Grill - Carte

I highly highly recommend ye olde Cheshire cheese for anyone who likes a pub and history.

This was a friend get together. We arrived early (for and they opened the Restaurant for us which was really nice Food was good. Service good. We had the discounted meal. Fantastic value. Would definitely go there again Marion Dooley

Booked for a Birthday celebration, we arrived earlier than planned expecting some resistance but the team couldn't be more accommodating. Wonderful waiter Kostas, looked after every single one of us at the table appropriately. Couldn't recommend a visit more highly.

As Sherlock fans visiting London, we just had to go to Baker Street, and dining at Sherlock's was just perfect. The food was excellent, high quality, the waiter was very friendly and even spoke a few words in French with us. Such an elegant place. My daughter and I enjoyed that diner to its fullest. This was a really pleasant experience and we felt absolutely at ease with the staff. My only heavy critique must be on the level of salt in the main courses. Having a heavily salted swordfish with olives in a salted tomato sauce made finishing my meal quite a struggle. Not only that but my friend's pasta dish was salted, on top of the butter and Parmesan that made the dish. All that said, I will definitely be back to give it a fair go. Wonderful place!

Sherlock's Bar Grill was fine for lunch, although extremely quiet on the weekday we dined. The food was OK, the rib-eye steak was a little fatty and tough, although cooked nicely on the charcoal grill which helped the taste. They charged for side dishes which were a good size and value. Service was reasonably attentive, although with only other diners it should have been. Overall, a little disappointing and I probably would not return again as there is so much more choice in the area and the food/restaurant was average.

We were very disappointed with our meal here. It took almost an hour to place our order despite the fact we were one of two occupied tables there (we were a party of When the mains eventually came, one of the orders was wrong. Someone had ordered a burger without cheese. The waiter took the order back and we watched as the chef then scraped the cheese from the burger and sent it back. As the person who ordered it had a cheese allergy she had to send it back and wait for another to be cooked. By the time the burger arrived, the rest of us had long finished the meal. We weren't offered any discount or compensation for this. Food was average and over priced. Approx for burgers and a drink each.... Voir le carte
