Abe's Cakes - Carte

I havent tried any cakes there yet. But i have tried pav bhaji and samosa and they were really very good . i would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves chats .

The woman working at the shop was very rude and never used basic manners like "thank you" or "please." I would not go back there or recommend it to anyone. There was no greeting either. The service was the worst.

Abe's cakes is always friendly and the cakes are made to my needs. I read the reviews against the lady at the counter, i am a regular to that shop but she is always helpful, straight forward and gives you the right information. Way to go Baghya, you and Abraham makes a good team. I always recommend Abes cakes to my friends.

I unfortunately had a disappointing experience not once, but twice at this restaurant. A few years ago, I ordered a cake that didn't turn out as expected, but I assumed it was a miscommunication. I highly recommend Abe's Cake as the finest cake bakery in Swindon. There is no compromise when it comes to cakes, sweets, or even samosas. I have never been disappointed by their service or the quality of their cakes. There are very few places where you can find authentic Indian food and cakes, and this restaurant is one of them. Their cakes are light, fluffy, and full of flavor - truly Indian. The same can be said for their snacks, like samosas and pakoras. The staff is always polite and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure customers are satisfied. They even opened early just to fulfill an order for me. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try with an open mind.

We had been to Abe's a number of times and Mr Abraham was always pleasant and welcoming. However the last time we went there it was a lady behind the counter. Her attitude was as if she was doing us a favour by letting us into her shop. We tried to make conversation but she was acting very uninterested and replying in one word sentences.. Needless to say we never went in after that if she was behind the counter. As other reviewers also felt she clearly needs more training in customer service.

If you want a cake made to order or just want delicious sweets/cakes/puddings this is the place to shop. Besides the cakes there is a short lunch menu of vegetarian dishes and a chalk board of specials. Every dish is freshly made to order and is full of the spicy tastes of Pondicherry. You are asked how you want your meal: spicy, medium or mild. It was a great lunch. Nobody with a sweet tooth can not be pleased by the wonderful section of Southern Indian sweets/puddings.
